Change of Color iAir

Every few months on Bootleggers we witness a player/players name change from the plain white font (or possibly orange) to a bright yellow. Even more rare is the name change from the bright yellow font to the dark green. For the first time in my Bootleggers history we witnessed a green font return to the white.

Many comments have since followed, both positive and negative, about Harlem ending his moderator duties. This article is not an attack on what he did/did not do, rather a discussion on what happens now.

Many questions have been floating in my head and I now pose several of them for the general public to also think about and/or comment on.

A moderator would in theory know each single players protection, gun and bullet count. Wouldn’t that make it rather easy for a crew he joined to easily attack other players and/or groups?

A demotion from Legendary Don-Don was made on said account. In my time online I have seen the average player rank to don with 2,000 crimes, 750 cars stolen, 2,000 jail busts and 100 organized crimes (all on average). Were these stats achieved in the limited time that user was online?

IF and this is a big IF, protection and gun were bought, was that with money handed to all moderators by BSF or money earned elsewhere?

A moderator would in theory know the answer to: “What helps you rank the fastest?” Would that knowledge (along with countless other game secrets) remain ‘safe’ and untold to friends?

Time will only tell how this move will, if at all, affect general game play. However, will Harlem now be persecuted by the powers that be for stepping down? Will more repercussions take place for mentioning another member of the Elite Guard was part of his reason for quitting? Only time will tell.
