Bust Feature got Busted. Aldarionimo

Remember the days when jails had a lot of people in them, when some people were known just because they used the bust-feature? Back then I spoke to people who just played the game to bust people, and make friends that way.
None of those are related to the Bootleggers of today. I'll elaborate further on the bust-feature in this short article.

To get straight to the point, busting is way too hard at the moment. Success-ratios are extremely low, it takes a lot of attempts to finally get a successful bust, and no, not once, it's the same story for every bust.

My question therefore is simple: why is the busting this hard? Of course, once one has more attempts and better rank, busting gets easier. However, the amount of people reaching this point is low, very low. People quit trying because of the lack of success. Lack of success, especially in the beginning, removes all potential of the feature since once one reaches a ‘proper’ rank, one will still ignore the bust feature due to prior experience. Hence the jails being empty, moreover once one gets stuck in jail, chances of being busted out are small due to it being very hard and due to the low amount of people that didn't get bored with busting being this hard.

Why do people still bother to bust? I suppose that’s because it slightly influences the experience. So busting became something for the real ‘die hards’, instead of something every player uses because it’s just good fun.

Why then did they make busting this so extremely difficult? I can’t actually think of a single proper reason to do that, the only thing it did was killing the complete feature.

So, as busting is no longer worth the effort, which almost makes it a pointless addition to the game, it should be revised. It should be made less difficult so that busting becomes a fun and useful feature once again. Because nowadays, this feature no longer is a fun feature, it has become an annoying feature. Busting was about the fun and that’s exactly what has been removed by making it as it is now.
