To kill? Or to be killed! DJSquidee

To kill or to be killed seems to be the new question that's dooming over the Bootleggers community. On a quiet Friday night Sabin announced that a new era had started within the killing feature. The killing feature has had a long awaited update, seeing it's one of the main features within Bootleggers.

The new layout of the kill page stunned everyone. Each option is tabbed and clickable, consisting of 'Search' , 'KILL' , 'Hitlist' , 'Witness' , 'Attempts' , 'Suicide' and 'Options'. Seeing as some features that are normally situated on the actions menu have been deleted and moved all-in-one to the kill page.

The number of bullets to kill someone has been changed. This means that all the bullet calculators that have been created are now entirely useless to everyone. There are also other factors that are included to the new kill updates. Guns and protection don't mean everything. Now, all aspects of the game are included. This means that your crimes, Grand Theft Auto and Arm Wrestling are all taken in to account.

A new update to the search menu are the new detectives. You now have the ability to choose which detective you want to use. There are five different detectives. Each detective has its quirks and advantages, so choose carefully! Generally, more expensive detectives will find your target faster.

The second page contracts is a new page all together. It keeps up to date with all of your searches. A new add-on is calling your detective! To get an update about your search progress, you can call your detective. Each detective gives a certain number of free calls, and you can pay for extras. You can only get updates by calling. The price of extra calls varies for each detective.

State and Nation Dons will no longer get a "5-minute search". Instead, their attempts to find someone who is in their home territory will get bonuses to the search time and accuracy. Also, State Dons will find they get a bonus if they themselves are in their home territory. The Nation Don will get this bonus everywhere.

Missions are not affected by this kill update, so you can use the same number of bullets as before and any gun along with any detective.

Another feature that got added to the art of killing is the Shoot-Out. This means that killing is no longer just a matter of shooting someone and then running away. If you shoot, be prepared to get shot back. Crew mates are able to join and help you kill the enemies. The police can also get involved and they seem to have strong fire power.

Sabin says he will add more stuff when he thinks of it, thus means more additions may arise. He also asks all users to report bugs to the Help Desk.

That concludes this weeks article on the update. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
