Telling It Like It Is... BrickTamland

Hello again everyone. Me here, obviously. Well, weren't we served up with a lovely amount of events to tuck into this week?
Namely the colossal wipeout of the State Dons. Also on the news was the addition of 5 completely new crewspots for all those Boss+ players outside a crew to try and get their hands on. Some were given through dice games by BSF2000 himself, others just left to pick up and create. Of course, this prompted wipes, some even as late as last night so I had to write this up on Sunday. What I do for you guys. Finally, I thought I'd make a point on gambling and the ever-irritating bug of posting in the wrong frigging topic. Let's begin.

Firstly, the State Dons were eliminated. Still there remains no replacements for them. I, for one, chuckled as I saw 7 State Dons get killed within hours of each other. Sure, like many, I liked some and of course some of their Body Guards who paid the price but it did make me laugh seeing the highest ranked people on the Game get removed from power. First of all, as I'm sure you all know, WorLock, one of said Dons, shot 3 of them, the main ones who he thought would rival him to make Nation Don. I guess he thought, "my work here is done", until he died himself. Hats off to Casimir who it the remaining four, albeit funded by others. Makes the Game a much more level playing field in my humble opinion. As I say, although your high ranked friends have died, they can rank back up again. I support anyone who brings action into the Game. After all, it's a potential chance to grab land or casinos that drop.

Next up, the addition of the 5 new crewspots. I was in IRC as BSF posted that "Someone needs to make a damn crew!" and ProfessorChaos was there first. Then the penny started to drop in the forums as they realised the Stats now read, "Crews: 11/11". Some made the prediction of 15 total being added over time, myself included. My initial thoughts were, "Oh dear God, any number of noob crews can appear" and sure enough, a few did. However, then I realised how many potential crew wipes were on course to happen now, and the all important one, how colourful the bottom of the Statistics page would look. When such things as 5 new crewspots are implemented, a hell of a lot of players decide to form new crews on no foundations, such as Awesome. Crews built like this have little chance of standing if the holder decides to accept any Boss+members that apply as meatshields. If you play it like that, one kill, and the crew isn't yours any more and you've wasted some cash. If only there was an example of this. Oh wait, yes there is, Street Kings. Fair enough, I had heard of Street Kings before, but they let in someone who was there to "help" and all of a sudden, their crew was no more. So, the 13th crewspot was contested for by a $30,000,000 ante dice game held by BSF in the OTF. As luck would have it, Chris won. He named it to something ridiculous if I remember correctly, and sold it on. That's what your meant to do! Even a Revvie can do it, if you don't have a strong crew, sell it goddammit and live off the profits!

Thridly, I'd like to briefly mention the late inside of The Constitution. Having, in my opinion, bigged himself and his crew up in the Game Forum all week saying how they were strong, iNaruto, their Boss, finally paid the consequences. For a start, he kept being killed over and over again and if that wasn't enough, Cracka/ShortEsBFF decided to inside them, taking The Constitution for everything. Maybe this is a lesson for acting silly in a public forum, I don't know, but I'm sure it'll take them a fair while to get back onto the Stats.

We come to gambling. Now this is pretty simple and is something we should all look at. IF YOU WANT TO GAMBLE, ACCEPT THE HIGH PROBABILITY THAT YOU WILL LOSE AND QUIT ASKING OTHERS TO FEED YOUR ADDICTION! This is one of the things that irritates me most. If you suck at gambling, give up. I do and have. Let's take Tynos as an example here. I think we all agree that he is a pretty awesome gambler. You never see him begging for money, even on the rare occasions he does lose. Begging for cash will make it less likely that you will get some.
Finally, posting in the wrong topic. Have you done it? Earlier this week, I became a victim, only once, but once none the less. It's been said that it's been reported as a bug and is being dealt with. If any of you are regular sufferers, please be careful, I have been and have still been caught. It provides me with mild amusement when I see compleely random posts in a topic but it's not so good when I become the victim. I just hope to God it's sorted soon.

I'd like to point out again, for those who rate the article, please give a critique, what you liked, didn't like, agreed with, didn't agree with, etc.
Thanks!
I guess that is all for this week, tell me what you think of it all and I'll see you all next week.
Until then, I bid you adieu.
