The Return of Absolute Zero Mikamon

After barely surviving the wrath of Nation Don DevilSSpawn, The Black Death didn't have that many options left. As there had to be chosen between attempting to stay on the statistics or selling the spot, it was decided to play safe and put the crew up for sale. As the deal was completed, The Black Death was no more and Bootleggers witnessed another return of Absolute Zero.

As Absolute Zero was settling in, the Buzz got in touch with Cain (MrMiser) and asked him some questions regarding the re-appearance of his crew. It turned out that his crew had taken hardly any time to prepare before getting onto the statistics. Cain said, “I wouldn't say we were so much underground as just...well looking for an opportunity.” He added, “And I made an AZ topic the day before I took the stats.” This was regarding the Game Forum thread he had made earlier in an attempt to find out how many people would support Absolute Zero's return.

Cain ended up buying the crew for a total of 1,000 points. “Give or take a few hundred,” he added. However, like every crew on the statistics, Absolute Zero also has to fear being wiped off again. Seeing the crew is replacing one that got shot off, this must have gone through Cain's head when he bought the spot. “You always have to be worried about take overs. It's the main worry of a crew boss,” he told the Buzz. “AZ isn't a weak crew, however, I never plan ahead so it takes some time before my members re-join, and that always makes me nervous.”

As for his plans with the crew, Cain disclosed, “To make the crew experience what it should be. Pleasant. I'm not looking to "make my mark" I've already done that, time and time again.” By stating this, Absolute Zero seems to be taking the same position they always take. A crew that is serious but also wants to have fun. In addition, Cain commented, “I just like giving my crew members what every crew member desires, some good people to hang out with and a good crew forum to play in. I do that well and see no reason to change now.”

With old members that are rejoining and new members being recruited, it looks like Absolute Zero will be able to maintain its spot on the statistics for a while. The fifteen crewspots don't seem to have given birth to weak crews in the end. For now, they have allowed a well known crew to return. However, even if crews are not on the statistics, they can live on. Like Cain said, “Only thing I can add is, wiping the crew doesn't remove us, AZ is every forum whore on this game, and every ug member that wishes they had a place to call their own. Its a state of mind ever as much as a crew.”

For now, this concludes a chapter in Bootleggers history. The era of The Black Death has been halted, but might not have been permanently stopped. In addition, the era of Absolute Zero has begun once again as the crew starts their adventure on the statistics. The Buzz would like to end this article with Cain's own conclusion. “I hope to stay around for awhile, but like everything else, only time will tell if it will happen or not.”
