The Syndicate vs. Eternal Labyrinth TheDadMan

The Syndicate. Chances are you will have heard of them if you have been around since before this reset, or the early stages of this round. Like a mythical creature, this crew seems to appear, conduct its business and then disappear again. What we at the Buzz should mention is that crew’s business is killing, and for The Syndicate, business has been good this week.

This week, The Syndicate re-emerged from its semi dormant state, and hammered their way through Eternal Labyrinth, killing a myriad of members. This shooting spree, in addition to sending dozens of witness statements to unsuspecting players and creating a mass of ‘RIP’ topics in our very own game forum, was sufficient enough to drop the crew from the stats page completely.

After the attack on Eternal Labyrinth had been completed, we at the Buzz set out to get more information on the attack, and managed to get in touch with Goosy, the often elusive leader of the Syndicate, who kindly agreed to provide us with some details.

The first question we asked Goosy was simply why he chose Eternal Labyrinth as a target. Goosy’s response was “Chris shot Melabo, who happens to be a friend of mine. They also claimed that they couldn’t be wiped, which we saw as an open invitation.” Seeing this attack seemed to be one of gold old fashioned revenge, we at the Buzz imagined that this attack must have taken a good deal of planning and dedication of a good amount of in-game resources. Goosy confirmed this by revealing it took a total of approximately 700,000 bullets over four shooters to kill forty-five accounts inside the Eternal Labyrinth crew spot, as well as two Legendary Don accounts who were suspected of working in cahoots with the crew itself.

With an intricately planned shooting fuelled by revenge, we at the Buzz asked Goosy if there was anything he wanted to add in terms of a message to Eternal Labyrinth or the playing public in general. His statement was, “The Syndicate is all around you, we are everywhere, we are part of your crews, your friends, your enemies, we oc with you and we sit in jail with you. Membership is exclusive and for life. For now The Syndicate sleeps. I suggest you don't try to wake it.” Which was an adequate closing statement before The Syndicate disappeared into the shadows once more.

The question to ask now is whether or not Eternal Labyrinth would come back, recover and attack those they see as their enemies. The answer this question is currently unknown, as Eternal Labyrinth, despite making a brief return to the stats page, sold their crew spot to Virtual Reality and disappeared into the underground themselves.

How will this story of revenge and slaughter continue? Only time will tell.

Happy Gaming!
