The Notorious Gangsters, Once Again! Mikamon

Written by PerseveranceV2

With the wipe of Perpetual Elysium complete, there was once again a spot for sale on the statistics after the dropped spot was picked up by London and a couple of members of Gentlemen of Fortune. After a day or two the spot was purchased, and The Notorious Gangsters (TNG) once again returned to the statistics page, for a price of no less than 700 points.

This is not the first time TNG has returned to the statistics, with attempts being made before to build up what was before the first wipe of the crew, a fairly strong unit of players. With the last attempt labelled a failure by many, we at the Buzz wondered what would be different for TNG this time. To find out this information and more, we caught up with Gutsy, one of the TNG bosses. When asked what TNG has learned from previous times on the stats, Gutsy simply responded, “Don't let TBB members in with us and stay friendly with GoF.” With simple responses such as these, some may wonder if the crew has yet developed as much as it needs to, in order to be considered a force on the statistics page.

With Perpetual Elysium seeming as a very strong crew prior to their sudden and unexpected wipe, the Buzz wondered if TNG felt any threat that PE may attempt a wipe to get the spot back. However when asked this, Gutsy simply replied, “Maybe but if they did then we would just return the favour back to them.” Clearly Gutsy and TNG feel they have prepared themselves for possible attacks better this time than they had during previous appearances. With the crew being wiped and in sided before, the Buzz also wondered how TNG improved in terms of offense and defence this time around on the statistics. When asked this, Gutsy said, “Well we have lots of high ranked members from last time they didn't get killed in the wipe-out, so I think we will just rank up together and get stronger.” This appears to be a valid claim as more and more members appear in the crew who’s rank would be considered high by most on Bootleggers.

In coming to the stats the Buzz also predicted that TNG would have some immediate plans, when asked what these plans might be however, Gutsy simply replied, “Get rich.”This is something that is easily said but not so easily done, so only time will tell if TNG is able to do this, or whether the crew will even be around long enough to do so!

A criticism made before of TNG was a far from flawless recruitment system, however this does not appear to have changed, as when the interview was coming to a close and Gutsy was asked for any additional comments, he replied, “Anyone Assassin+, wealthy+ and loyal apply and get an application form.” Perhaps a sign that lessons are yet to be learned by TNG, however this will only be found out in time.

Happy Gaming!
