The Story Behind TV-GoF War. MotherFrick

Recently, many players have witnessed attacks on The Vanguard. These attacks were caused by Gentlemen of Fortune. However, it seemed like there was once peace between these crews, when they were united as one, calling themselves, ‘The Maranzano Gentlemen.’ So what has changed since then? The Buzz talk to LaBonzo, boss of The Vanguard and MastaBlasta, a member of Gentlemen of Fortune.

The Buzz felt it was needed to start from the very beginning, since before the crews were one. MastaBlasta said, “A while back, Gentlemen of Fortune showed their powers on Bootleggers, by killing anybody who stood in their way. These attacks were mostly funded by Kraake and KH, who were Notoriously Rich. After this, GoF was attacked several times, by several crews. After the last attack on GoF, Abonzo came to our leaders, offering a merge between The Maranzano Comorra, and Gentlemen of Fortune. The public leader was GoF boss, PirateSyrrist. The Major, Abonzo and The Phantom were leading in the background.” FaithJV, former head recruiter for MC, commented, “When TV sold the crew spot many months ago, almost everybody from TV joined GoF, so we made a great relationship between TV and GoF, I'd say at the time the most strongest crew on the stats. TV then decided we wanted to make our own route again so Alonzo ,the crew boss of TV, decided to buy a new crew spot and we formed MC. Not so long ago, GoF was under attacked by two crews, TC, CB & WHG was also involved. leaving GoF almost completely wiped from the stats. MC (TV) did not want to sit back and let our friends die so MC (TV) shot all the shooters and a merger between GoF and MC was agreed, MC then accsepted all GoF members forming The Maranzano Gentalmen.”

After this introduction, the Buzz moved on to how the merge affected the two crews. Abonzo, now named LaBonzo, said, “At the start, it was okay, but as you can see, it never really worked. The Maranzano Camorra and Gentlemen of Fortune had two different visions, two different ways of working things out, and two different ways of running things. As The Vanguard had bought the spot, we were going to keep it, so we soft-kicked every GoF member from the crew.” He added, “At first, we believed there was no hard feelings between the crews, but now it seems there was.” He concluded, “If I could give advice to any Bootleggers player, it would be to not merge crews.” MastaBlasta commented, “Some guys in MC decided to kill some Notoriously Rich accounts, KH and Kraake got ratted out, and their bank names spilled by a person they know in real life. The lost more than $66,000,000,000 in the shootings. They lived for funding shootings, they had been doing it for over two and a half years. They then quit, they had no money to do that anymore. This is were it all begun.” He also commented, “Two weeks later, Syrrist became inactive for a week, for real life issues. During this week, many rules were placed into the crew, like, ’Be active in the forums,’ and ’Rank quickly,’ GoF weren’t used to the rules, so the former MC leaders thought the merge wasn’t a success, and soft-kicked GoF. MC then turned into The Vanguard.”

The Buzz then inquired about what happened after the merge. MastaBlasta said, “TV and I settled our differences. A few days later, SprintScreen came to me, saying that he had been kicked from TV after being suspected as a dupe of me. This kind of annoyed me, so I made an underground crew, made up of a few GoF members, called, ‘The Scene.’” He kindly ellaborated on this, saying, “This allegation cause me, and a few ‘The Scene’ members, to kill some of TV’s high ranked players. In no way did we intend to wipe them, we didn’t even have every Boss+ member on search! At first, TV thought GoF was attacking them, as they had found out altrnt and I as shooters. One of our friends, NatalioHonza, was in The Commission during the shootings. So TV thought TC were helping GoF attack them, and killed DonBabaX for revenge. Five days went by, Abonzo came to altrnt and I, he spoke about a truce, so we agreed not to shoot each other. He confirmed this truce with Blinksss as well. A few hours later, my Thug account, Zwansung, was attempted on five times by InsaneBull and NotGraey. CheckOutTI shot InsaneBull for me, so I then went to TV and gave them an ultimatum. Shoot NotGraey, or have atleast 10 of their members shot and killed. They told me they wouldn’t shoot TV members who were helping them out, and told me to do what I had to do. So I found a shooter, and they shot.”

As it stands, this is the information provided to the Buzz about this conflict. A conflict which does not appear to be over yet and will probably continue in the future. How and when remains to be seen, but it may be severly doubted if this was the last we have seen from both crews as they keep opposing each other.
