The Invisibles Vs. Rankism MikaTheGoofball

A new crew takes central stage this week as The Invisibles open fire on people who were considered 'rankists', meaning they refused to let lower ranks join their Organized Crimes or asked a lot of money from the lower ranks in order to join. Believing this was not the way things needed to be done, The Invisibles members KamikazeDavid and XBrowneyesX opened fire with the support of the pink guard in an attempt to combat the phenoma some call rankism.

After the shooting, Himmel created a Game Forum thread in which he explained the reason for the spree, which was of course rankism. He further stated, “We're shooting essentially random people. We're weird, and we like it that way.” In total 41 accounts were killed in the spree, forcing the owners who had first asked for offers or refused to accept lower ranks to now join the lower ranks and climb the ladder of ranks all over again.

The Buzz got in touch with Himmel and sat down for a more in depth interview regarding the event. For starters we asked him to define the term rankinst, so we knew what it meant for The Invisibles. “A rankist is someone who refuses to allow lower ranked players to join them, whether that be without an offer of money, or not at all, it's all the same to us,” he said. Adding, “If our S. Dons are willing to OC with the first 3 people to BM them from the Classifieds, everyone should.” He continued, “Players are welcome to attempt to exploit their rank, but from our point of view, they started off the same place everyone else did, Scum, and thus should be fair to those lower ranks, as you never know when you may end up back at that rank and trying to find an OC!”

As for the future, Himmel also disclosed some information that might be promising in the long run. “Without giving up any secrets, I can say we aren't done yet, you should see more of us having some fun in the coming days, we'll drill it into people's heads if necessary. A side note to the readers, we have been watching the Classifieds since the shooting, we know who you are.”

Finally the Buzz was curious about the possible use, or waste even, of funds. “Of course it's a waste of resources,” Himmel said. “That was our whole intent, to cause some mayhem! For anyone that thinks these shootings have left us vulnerable, stay tuned, we aren't done yet.” So there you have it, there might be even more where this came from. Want to find out? Try doing a Don+ OC and you might be in the middle of the action!
