Yakuza Returns PizzAldarion

This week, we witnessed the return of a crew that existed in the very early days of Bootleggers. Back then, the crew was well known and even today, the crew’s name is still respected by the Bootleggers community. Most of these people would, nevertheless, not expect a return of this crew. However, Cusado87 brought Yakuza back onto the stats. The Bootleggers Buzz had a little interview with him, to gather information about the crew.

The spot Yakuza owns was previously held by 23rd Gunslinger Co., a crew that retired this week. Cusado told us, “Spongy also came back to BL a short while before me and bought a crew, I'm not sure how much.He contacted me the other day regarding my plans for Yakuza, and offered me the crew spot. Now this was a little premature for me, I wasn’t going to go to the stats for a few weeks, but I saw the opportunity so I went for it. Spongy was a loyal member of Yakuza in the past, so I rewarded him with Underboss.”

We asked Cusado to describe Yakuza as it was, several years ago. He said, “Yakuza was a respected and well-spoken crew, with a lot of power and loyal members. We never had a strong alliance with another crew as we were happy with what we had.We had many wars, more notably with The Deadly Alliance and The Regulators. Through hard work and dedicated members, we came out on top, which boosted our popularity and respect significantly. We were acknowledge at the time as the #1 crew. Then there was the reset, and we decided not to remake Yakuza and just let it die as a legendary crew.”

In the past, several had attempted to bring this crew back, which all resulted in failed attempts to regain the glory of the past. What then, made this former Yakuza boss decide to bring back this crew? Cusado told us, “I had heard that many people have tried to bring back Yakuza, but was unsuccessful. I felt up to the challenge when my old Underboss oldskool suggested it. And I thought it was about time to bring it back again. So I returned to BL about a week ago and started my preparations.”

Cusado also told us about his future plans with, “At the moment the only short term plans I have is to get the crew up and running and become a solid spot on the stats page.
I hope to make a strong alliance with The Commission also. BabaX was my old RHM, I believe himself and his crew could become a very good ally.” Cusado’s words at the end of the interview were, “Loyalty is my Honour - YAKUZA IS BACK!!!!”

Now that Yakuza has returned, we yet have to see whether the crew will be able to regain its glory from the past. The fact that Casudo managed to get the crew back, even though he just started playing again, seems to prove that this attempt is likely to be more successful than others we have seen so far.
