Sabin's Resignation whitestar

Today, I have the sad duty to inform you that Sabin resigns from his job as administrator.

Some will have tears of joy because they see him quit. Some will have tears of sadness and most people probably won’t cry at all. After being discussed on numbers of occasions by almost every player in the game, Sabin has decided to call it a day and stop.

About two days ago I received a BM that the Bootleggers Buzz had received word of Sabin. And a sad word it was. Sabin has decided to step down from his admin position and has decided to stop playing Bootleggers. He hasn’t made a topic on the Game Forum simply because he wanted the Buzz to be the first to know. He also asked us to make an article about it so that he can concentrate on doing his last things before stopping. He will most likely ask to be demoted and kicked from Elite Guard by the end of next week. With that, the staff will lose another member.

What to tell about Sabin? There is much to tell. He set a high bar for longevity, being a Mod for 663 days. And this was rewarded when BSF2000 decided to promote Sabin to Administrator. Some players say he was corrupt when he got promoted while others say he just started doing his job even better then before. Fact is and remains that Sabin is one of the staff members that is being spoken of pretty often and not always in a good way.

Sabin himself isn’t really bothered by all this. He just does his job and he kept doing it until the last day. The reason for his resignation is the fact that he doesn’t have enough time to deal with all the pressure. He will becoming a professional wrestler pretty soon and he is training even more now. This all leaves very little time to play Bootleggers.

In short, with Sabin gone we have lost an administrator that always stood his ground and did what he had to do, no matter what the consequences might be.

"Thank you all for a wonderful time here. Of course, this is an April Fool's prank. I'm not really going anywhere, and you're stuck with me for a long time to come. Happy Gaming!"
