AZ Sold to? whitestar

Some confusion regarding the very top player owned crew spot in Bootleggers arose when Absolute Zero was selling their sought after crew spot. Mrpelli, the previous holder of the crew spot of Absolute Zero, was (at the time) no longer in the crew and Cain was the new holder.

Clovis (a.k.a. Spine), another Boss of AZ, posted a topic on the Classifieds, saying the crew was for sale (quick sale was 8,000 points). The highest bid he got however was (a mere) 5,100 points. A few hours after this, Clovis announced that the highest bidder was offline and that he would give it another 30 minutes before canceling the auction. He stated this in his topic on the Classifieds. After these 30 minutes he asked the HDO's to delete his topic, meaning that the crew wasn't for sale anymore.

However mrpelli disagreed.

He disagreed by saying that the crew wasn't there to stay and thus the spot was still for sale. This was said while others were still claiming that Absolute Zero would stay. So which was it?

Soon after his statement, Ruffian become crew holder and said AZ was no longer for sale. At that time, mrpelli's profile stated that "without Cain and him in the drivers seat, AZ would be fake." Cain also added that he would be leaving Bootleggers and that it was "fun while it lasted."

In Nyxxie's article last week-- she stated that only the strong survive. Maybe AZ needs some time in a gym with a personal trainer before attempting at a crew spot again.

Until then, Good luck to the next crew to hold that sought after spot.
