A New Crew? DejaVu

While Elysium is merely a name on the stats page waiting to be changed, we have again witnessed that a crew can fall just as quickly as it begins. At 10:00 PM (BL time) on Thursday night, the moment everyone seemed to be waiting for happened. M2ZA finally came out of vacation, leaving us all to wonder what would happen to Elysium. Just 50 minutes later, our questions were answered as new management was in charge of the spot. But how was the deal made so quickly?

While Elysium was suspended, Spine contacted Whitestar on MSN to inform him that he wanted to sell the spot. 7,500 points had been offered and an agreement was quickly arranged. With the crew holder in vacation, the deal would have to wait. Once M2ZA came online Thursday night, the exchange would take place.

Setter kindly offered me some details, “The payment occurred after the crew transaction, using a trusted middleman.” With the payment completed and their members in control of the spot, M.I.N.D. was officially the newest crew to reach the stats page. But who were these guys and where did the name come from?

The 6 bosses first came together in March and were responsible for the takeover of the crew spot belonging to the Silent Killers. WalkingDream thought up the name and the partnership was created. M.I.N.D. consists of two crews, Dies Irae (DI) and Mara Noches (MN). If you combine the letters and change the order, M.I.N.D. is formed. Whitestar also added, “It looks idiotic if you write it out but it’s the abbreviation that matters.”

Congratulations to all of the members of M.I.N.D. for getting an official crew spot on the stats page! I would like to say thanks to Whitestar and Setter for taking a few moments to speak to me about the situation.
