Crews, still a hot item? Arda

There were days that you couldn't view the Game Forum without seeing a call for more crewspots. But now, some time into this round, these topics seem to have disappeared. What happened? Are crews no longer a point of discussion?

They are still a hot item however, this can be concluded after the takeover/wipe of The Invisibles and after Elysium (now M.I.N.D.) being sold. Yet the Bootleggers community has stopped asking for more crewspots. This could have something to do with the statement Sabin made some time ago. He said that “there would be no more crewspots until the current ones were full.”

All spots being full or nearly full is something that isn't the case and will not be the case, most likely, for some time. Still the forums are full of underground crews recruiting and asking tax to get 'up ground' one day.

Plus crews are an important part of the gameplay for many people. Many Bootleggers want to join one because of the privilege of being part of a crew. The friendship you get in a crew and also the fact that you must have a certain level of decency and 'skill' to be a member of a crew. The reputation that a crew has is reflected onto the members as does their reputation reflect to the crew.

But don't forget; with all the trouble going on like time warps and other errors it is only logical crews aren't a matter of big interest at the moment.
Conclusion? Crews are still important and they always will be.
