New Way of Scamming SharkieKiller

"I've been scammed and lost over 100k not mentioning the stock and the cars all cleaned out, and on the top of that I was put on a vacation for a whole month..." at fist I thought I was alone, but then my friends showed up the next day, with the same disaster. Some had more losses than I did. What is a rank with out any money? So I made a new account and started again from the beginning.

How do they do it??
They send you messages impersonating Bootleggers' staff (The Elite Guard or HDOs), telling you that this is warning number one and you've been caught duping and they will perform an IP Screening Scan, the will wait for your approval (nothing harmful yet), then they will ask you to fill a form out asking for your username and password.

How to avoid it??
- Always keep some money in the Swiss Bank.
- Always check the profile of the user. If they aren't in the Elite Guard, they aren't who they say they are! If they are posing as an HDO, if they're user name doesn't appear in yellow on the online list-- they are lying!
- No matter what, don't give your pass to any user,
no matter how convincing the way they are asking you to, even to the BL staff. If the Elite Guard wants your account information the can get it without asking!
- NO member of staff will EVER ask for your password. If a real HDO is found asking, report them to the help desk under "Report Problem Staff." If someone is posing as staff, report them to the help desk under "Report a TOS Violation."
