The Syndicate attacks WHG Mika

Not that long after losing a Nation Don, Winter Hill Gang has taken another big blow. They lost their crew-spot. The Game Forum had some topics on it regarding the takeover of what is believed to be one of the stronger crews Bootleggers has. Yet, people managed to take it over. These people were organized as The Syndicate.

The killers spent over 500,000 bullets to do their killings and caused a slight shock amongst the Bootleggers community. Even though the takeover was done from the inside they still used a considerable amount of bullets. And there was still a State Don, LordRahl, they wanted to take down along with another non-WHG member: TheHuntress. She, according to herself, was shot to prevent her from getting the State Don spot. This spot was later taken by ebbie. The shooters, BKD aka Tom, Eve aka TPCGemini and blauwvoet aka Lenco, used a total of 284,000 bullets to take down LordRahl. 170,000 were supplied by Eve and the remaining 114,000 by Lenco. A spokesman of The Syndicate was willing to answer certain questions from the Buzz. Regarding the reason for the killings he said: “We like killing, we shoot because we can.” And they didn't say this was a one-time show either. When the question: Will you make kills again? was asked he answered: “Stay tuned!” So we might be seeing more kills in the future. Another point of interest was handed out to us by The Syndicate spokesman: “The Syndicate does not exist and we like it that way.” Killings done by a crew that doesn't exist but, in a way, is there.

Right after getting the crew, all members were kicked. There was $26,000,000 in the crew-bank. It was emptied by buying and selling protection, resulting in The Syndicate getting money for points. Also the crew-spot was put up for sale right away. Later on the crew was bought by Apocalypse crewboss resurrection, a.k.a. Karma. He wanted all ex-WHG members to apply so they could be accepted into the spot again. But the spot remains property of Apocalypse, according to the crew profile. Despite the fact that it looks like resurrection wants to simply rebuild Winter Hill Gang, there is no information about the actual plan and reason for Apocalypse, or rather for resurrection, buying the crew-spot except for making a friendly gesture towards Winter Hill Gang.

It doesn't look like we've seen the last of The Syndicate. As their crew quote says: The Syndicate is all around you,
we are everywhere,
we are part of you crew,
your friends, your enemies,
we OC with you and we sit in jail with you.
Membership is exclusive and for life
For now The Syndicate sleeps,
I suggest you don't try to wake it.

Considering what they've done, it might be best to let them sleep. Until they wake up again.
