Crew sale! And change of mind. Air
Team America was put up for sale by its crewboss, UncleSamFTW but as the bidding continued it became clear that there would be no sale after all.

As a start the amounts of points that were offered didn't go much further then a 'humble' 1,000 points yet when the quick sale price of 4,500 points was finally offered the deal was off. Team America was to remain on the stats.

“I don't have time to play this game anymore. I have real life things to do,” UncleSam explained after being asked about his reasons for selling the crew.

So at first the crew was put up for sale. However this was later made undone by UncleSam: “I gave the crew to the co-boss flyboy2109 for now. He is a very good friend of mine, and I'm sure he'll do a great job of running the crew.”

After UncleSam put the crew up for sale a clear voice amongst the members arose saying: No! “I told the crew if they could get to a certain amount of points and pay me back for what I spent on the crew that I would leave the crew to TA, But after a while I just said what ever and gave it to him for less than half the points I asked the crew for. A lot of the crew members really didn't want me to sell, and that pretty much pushed me to let the crew stay as is,” UncleSam told me.

“I hadn't been on all day and when I came on I had a mountain of Bootmails and the crew forum was full of topics about Sam wanting to sell the crew, so I had a talk with Sam and with the help of certain members of the crew we bought his share of the crew and now i am the main owner of the crew,” flyboy2109 responded. Shortly after this transfer of boss, TA was shot.

The shootings were done by Kangaroo for reasons unknown. When contacted Kangaroo did not reply and so his side of the story is unknown. UncleSam however did have some information. “What I was told from the shooter, was that there was no reason really... Sounded like he just didn't have anything else better to do,” he said. In total, Kangaroo shot seven TA members; one Legendary Don, one Respectable Don, three Dons and two Legendary Godfathers.

After the spree a busy week ended for Team America. The crew that was to be sold at first, but remained on the stats page after all.
