You're Either First, Or You're Last! JustDrew

While some elements of Bootleggers will never change, some will constantly be changing. A perfect example of this is the Stats Page. It seems like every week a crew is coming or going. This can be caused by an attack, an untrustworthy holder, or even the bosses deciding that it’s time to sell. With the many crews we have watched come and go this reset, one crew has stayed at the top of the Stats Page. As most of you already know, that crew is The Deadly Alliance also known as TDA.

For the members of TDA, their run at the top is over. The Clericuzio made their move on Wednesday, with Kust A.K.A. Rue attacking and killing 9 prominent members of TDA. We spoke about the attack and I was told “We were going to shoot tomorrow but as they got rid of Glock for us themselves I started searches this morning,” adding that it was a “Personal choice for me because they think they are untouchable.” JaXx, another member of TC commented that “They have been on the stats for ages.”

After the 9 kills had been made, the crew spot landed in the hands of GongSHOW, who was indeed an insider. He quickly passed the crew to Kust, making the takeover official. The members of TDA were then kicked one by one, and the name was changed to The Dead Alliance. But what was to become of this crew spot? “The intent was for it to drop when were killed,” Kust told me. It would appear that TC just wanted to have a little fun and watch TDA lose the top spot on the Stats Page.

The fun wouldn’t last long though as the crew spot was dropped when Kust was shot. The problem with this was the fact that JaXx, a Respectable Boss, was still inside the spot. This meant that the spot should have fallen into his hands. FortuneboyX quickly picked up the available crew spot and gave it back to the members of TDA, making their return quicker then anticipated. With this situation came confusion and another controversy. Was this a bug? If so, how would it be handled?

As JaXx sat in the old crew spot while the members of TDA returned to the new spot, most of the Bootleggers community sat confused. Stryfe got involved in the situation, and with fingers being pointed and the issue of corruptness being brought up, he made a statement in the Game Forum. “The crew didn’t fall to Jax and there is nothing I could have done about that,” he said, adding “There must be something that everyone is overlooking because there are no bugs associated with the crew drops at the moment.”

Either way it appeared that one party would be unhappy with the decision but the crew spot would stay in the hands of TDA. Why this happened, we may never know. However, one thing is certain. “I will be back, again to do it again” Kust told me.

Update: LaCoste, the Colorado State Don was also killed by TC during the attack on TDA. Kust spoke about this, saying “He told a TC (Rise) member he was bulleting up to shoot Rev/EH and TS and asked her not to shoot him. As it turns out he was lying so we killed him too.”
