A mutiny within Winter Hill Gang? JustDrew

The usual crew takeovers on Bootleggers involve an insider and multiple kills. However, the latest takeover was a little more creative. This time it didn’t involve an insider, an enemy or even more than one kill. After months of frustration within Winter Hill Gang (WHG), a mutiny was inevitable. While WHG is a great crew with loyal members, it is also run by a dictator. The ‘my way or the highway’ attitude and lack of respect shown towards members has slowly turned into a bigger problem, which caused a handful of good members to leave and left others questioning what was to become of this crew?

After multiple takeovers in a short period of time, a group of players returned to WHG with a goal of changing the way things were done. “A group of players came here and changed some things for the better,” said redsox46360v1, a council member in WHG, adding that “the crew was going in the right direction.” These changes and the hope for improvement would not last long with Franchise ranking back to Boss and regaining control of the crew. “As soon as Fran got the crew, he started changing things back to the way they were when we got taken over twice” an unnamed member of WHG said.

Another factor that caused the uprising was the fact that Franchise chose to bring back a certain Underboss, who was viewed by members as worthless or even whiny. It appeared that the crew was headed back to old habits and it might be time to take action. “I talked to a couple of high ranked members of the crew,” redsox said, and “they too thought it was in the best interest to take the crew.” I was advised that Franchise argued with some of the most loyal members of the crew about the return of Strider as an Underboss, with some even choosing to leave the crew.

At this point redsox decided it was the right time to make his move. Franchise had already been searched, and a meeting had taken place involving 6 current and former council members. With an unanimous decision being made to take control of WHG, it was time. Franchise was then shot, removing him from power and giving control of WHG to this new group. “Did I want to do it? No,” he told me, adding “it was what’s best for the crew.” Another heated debate would take place on MSN between Franchise and part of the 6 members who had taken control of the crew.

At this point Franchise asked that the name be changed so that he could take WHG underground. A vote was taken and the council was then restructured with the intent of transforming WHG into a new crew that would allow the members to actually have more of a say in how things were done. JustDrew was added as the fourth Boss and the name was decided on. It was now time for the rise of The Four Horsemen. As it currently stands, this once close family has gone two separate ways. What will become of both crews? It looks like we will just have to sit back and wait.
