Complaints, Complaints, Complaints LadySylv

This last week, Sabin has been very busy with lots of updates for the game. All the updates are described in the Buzz, of course. Some of these updates include an OC-change (some of which we are all unaware of right now), Elite Guard new rank title and profile color and wealth status. Other updates are minor, such as removal of an extra percent sign on the Federal Bank page.

Looking at the past, we're used to players calling the Elite Guard (EG) staff lazy and not interested. They follow their complaints with a plethora of insulting words. One would think that when things turned around 180 degrees, and the Administrators started working diligently on the game, the complaining would stop. Alas, our theories were wrong. After the updates that were made, players started to complain even more so than in the past. "The game is becoming worse", so they say. Are the players that complained about the game before the updates, the same players that complain now? And are these actual players? Or people that "quit" and hang around in the forums to troll, throw insults any which way and then log off when their head has swelled just enough for them to live another day? The Bootleggers staff works hard to improve the game, but will the bootlegger community ever be satisfied?

Answer in short? No. There will always be someone who is not satisfied with the changes in the game and will voice their opinion frequently and loudly. "There's always somebody that is going to find something to complain about. It's not always the majority, just a few people with really loud voices that don't shut up," said PinkSpaceh in the Game Forum. This may be one person or a handful of people-- but the volume of their "voice" makes their opinion go unnoticed while the ones in favor of the change get unheard. "Bottom line is that you want new features well then you need to take the good with the bad," said Elite Guard moderator, Raztaz in a similar thread.
