Points Page Update! LadySylv

On Thursday, we saw three new options on the points page. It took some time, but finally, the Bootleggers Point store was given a bit of a revamp, giving players more options on how to use their points!

According to the Points Page, it will cost you one point for one jail bail. With this option you can get yourself out of jail for the price of one point, which is mighty helpful when you're in a poker game or trying to win a Bust Party contest with a higher points/money prize! 10 points for $10,000 added to your cash on hand, which is a change from the 10 points for $2,500. And 500 points to reset your vacation timer. When you put your account on vacation for 3 days, and those 3 days are over, you can not put your account on vacation for 90 days. This feature resets that timer.

The last feature caused some worries among the bootleggers players. Vanessa stated in the Game Forum Sticky, "This is something that is going to be used exclusively by State and Nation Dons. They go on a shooting spree, go on vacation while stocking up bullets, come out of vacation, kill, reset vacation timer, go on vacation. Rinse and repeat. It's clear that nobody would need this feature under "regular" circumstances."

It makes sense, but State- and Nation Dons worked hard to earn there position, and have more privileges then the regular player does. Days following the update, Sabin changed the rule. State and Nation dons are not allowed to use this feature unless they are not producing bullets in their private factory.

To add, you can no longer send points to another player without using escrow. This has been an issue due to naughty players with unverified points who enjoyed sending one over to ruin your entire batch of verified ones. This will no longer happen unless you don't pay attention to escrow, because it shows if a player has unverified points.
