The Points/Dollar Scam Nyxxinator

This is just to serve as a warning to all players involving in the purchase or selling of points between players.

Some players are going around selling points for a decent (or fairly low) price. While this seems like a God-send at first, is nothing more than a not-so-clever scam.

The way to not be scammed is simple: PAY ATTENTION! This scam feeds off of inattentive players who like to do things quickly (...and not so efficiently).

Instead of putting in a point amount, the scammer will put a dollar amount instead. So instead of selling 200 points for a price, they are selling you $200 instead.

All it takes is a simple look-over of what you are agreeing to buy via escrow. Being complete, concise and attentive could save you a migraine and a lot of regret.

"People do need to pay more attention but if people are aware that this is actually taking place then maybe they will be more alert," stated VooDooDoll about the situation, "with the points scam they need to look closely in escrow before they agree. Make sure the person, for example, has entered 100 POINTS and not $100 like they have been. Honestly, it's common sense but sometimes, people don't pay attention," she concluded.

Remember, scamming is not necessarily against the Game rules and you will not be refunded for your loss of cash.
