The Person Behind the Green KingCoastie

VooDooDoll as many have known her before and still know her now was gracious enough to allow me to interview her for your reading pleasure.

A women who above all else has triumphs quite magnificently in this game going from the average person to now being a well known and respecter moderator. She mentioned that one of her biggest accomplishments since she started playing the game was the crew of which she was boss of in previous resets; "Organized Crime Syndicate". This crew established in 2004 and lasting for over two years was a fairly well known and established crew from which she was promoted to boss from within. She said it was gone after someone "bought" a Legendary Don account and wiped the crew clear off the statistics page. She also pointed out that the friends that she has made on this game is a huge accomplishment of hers, something she wouldn't change for the world. As many of us know on this game, your friends and where your loyalties lye pretty much defines you. Another thing that she has done that many people only wish and dream for is to not only make it to becoming a Help Desk Operator but to then become a Moderator as well. She stated that if it wasn't for Andy's consistent encouragement she would have never made it. Which simply goes to show how much your friends really make you what you are in this game. She said she wasn't sure if this next point would be considered an accomplishment but she said she would like to point it out anyways. That she maintains a professional attitude at all times and that she is a very approachable and open person. That on this game as many people know is a very difficult task to maintain in which I consider this to be a huge accomplishment.

I then talked to her a little bit about what she thinks the community of Bootleggers could do to make the gaming experience a little better as well, and got to some pretty good points that I would like to share with you. First being the fact that she doesn't find it a duty but rather finds it rather enjoyable to help others in not just the game forum but on a more personal level as well. She stated that she would like to see others and help others improve themselfs to become more like this in the future. She would like to say before that she gets into what her next point was is that "she is in NO WAY challenging the current rules or anything." However she says that it would be rather beneficial to the community of bootleggers if their was some sort of filter that could be placed on transfers just like they have on boot mails, which could solve a lot of problems between players. Other then that, she just said that there has been a lot of new features this reset and not everyone is always going to agree with them, but many who do not like them at first get a-custom to them and then enjoy the features like everyone else.

I then talked to her about what she gets out of the game. What she finds fun about the game or rewarding. She replied, and I quote "I am here to help the best that I can. I can't please everyone that's for sure but if I walk away knowing I have helped at least one person then I am satisfied" which in many peoples perspectives is a very honorable response. She said before she had any aspirations to become any sort of help the main reason she logged on everyday was for the community of bootleggers. The friendships and trust that she forms with her fellow men and women among the community.

I followed that up with quite the opposite. I asked her what it is if anything she dislikes about bootleggers. She stated that "it bothers me the amount of people that like to complain all the time but are so hesitant to do anything to help or solve the problem." Which brings up a valid and interesting point. Have you as a reader ever done this? Have you ever considered how it makes others preseve you? I asked her that if it also bothers her about some certain people who only log on to make fun of or otherwise harass others and she said and I quote "they need to find a hobby".

Some random questions I asked her and got some interesting responses. I asked her if she takes advantage of the fact that the Elite Guard is allowed to have more than one account so they can also play the game regularly like everyone else and she said " YES I do. But it is very long ranked and harmless as a kitten." What type of kitten she did not specify however. She also stated in a private conversation with me that she regularly enjoys to roll on dirty floors and finds cleaning to be of the non-fun variety.

Thank you to all for reading this. I hope you enjoyed this weeks article. Don't forget if you are interested in being featured in next weeks issue contact me directly. This is on a first come, first serve basis though.
