Hitlist Hoedown KingCoastie

This past week Sabin decided to grace all of us with a new feature edit. where you can remove a hitlist that you made and receive all your cash back, besides the tax on it of course. This officially hit the news page on the fourteenth of march, commonly known as last Friday. What about the practicality of such a small edit though? Is it something that saves or will it become a menace and a headache to many in the future?

Well on the up side of things, there is several very useful things that come out of this new feature. For instance, if you were to hitlist someone out of anger or retaliation. Then come to find that it was a requested kill or the thing you were angry about in the first point doesn't make that much sense, then this feature would be a savior to you. Also, think about how bad you would feel if you went to start a scum hunt for people for one million dollars and accidentally put an extra zero? Your now one million dollar scum hunt has turned into a ten million dollar expense. This feature in many ways can have it's positive outlooks.

Then again, this feature can bring a whole new world of terror to those who are hitlist friendly. As some have said in the game forum when I had this topic under discussion, people could use this for not very practical reasons. Such as; trying to show off by hitlisting yourself anonymously and "buying yourself off" like it was no big deal. What if you were on the other end of that scum hunt? Saw a scum on the hitlist for ten million and immediately started searching. The next thing you know, your ten million dollar pay day is all gone. It was also stated that some people could take advantage of it by hitlisting someone big for three and a half hours and then taking them off at the last second, or half hour. If they don't check the hitlist before they shoot, they could have wasted a whole lot of bullets.

So all in all. A valuable feature, and a headache just waiting to happen. Which are you for? Well, I am sure that will be depending on which side of the fence you are on when this effects you or not. Something to think about.
