State Don Interviews MikaVerLeth

Not that long ago, we witnessed the return of State Dons. As our Nation Don, XxBSxX, got interviewed last week, its time to ask our State Dons now. Both the Michigan State Don Limes and the Illinois State Don Genesis have received questions and answered them for us.

"I was expecting to reach State Don sooner or later," Genesis said, "but I wasn't expecting it so soon. It feels great," he said. "I've had a lot of positive Bootmails. People seem to like the State Dons as a lot of them are happy to have me here."

"I have never had any problems with any other players as I am totally peaceful, or was until I got to State Don and found everyone hassling me," Limes commented. "So I did expect I would make it to State Don." He added, "To be honest I wanted Nation Don but was one OC too late, so disappointing really. But that's ungrateful it's like getting a Breitling watch for Christmas and saying I wanted a Rolex."

Every State Don is faced with a choice before promoting. They need to select an own state upon receiving the invite. It shows all the states that are available and it is up to the State Don to select whichever he or she thinks is best. "I just thought Illinois was one of me more busy states," Genesis explained. "No idea why Illinois in particular." Limes, however had a different reason for his choice, the state of Michigan. "A long time ago, I was in a crew that owned the whole state of Michigan," Limes said, "and my job was holding the racetrack in that crew. It's like coming home." he ended. "I might take the racetrack again," he added.

The fact that both State Dons are not a part of a crew is also an interesting one. "I have a great crew that have invited me," Limes said, "the Dark Knights so respect to them, but I am under threat from the Resistance so I don't think it fair to that crew to join bringing trouble with me." Genesis kindly explained why he had chosen to remain crewless. "It was my choice," he said. "Especially after a lot of L. dons and R. dons got killed. I was a Respectable Don at that time so I thought I was already kinda close to State Don." He concluded, "Now, with all the wars, I thought it was better to stay out of it for at least a few weeks, after all it's not my fight anyway."

"I haven't got any plans yet," Genesis said. "Ranking other people is all I do at the moment."

"I want to outlive the Nation Don one day and take his chair," Limes said. "Sorry XxBSxX," he added. Concluding, "But to be clear to outlive not shoot him."

Limes ended his interview by saying: "Please all understand that I cannot always OC with you. I have friends who have known me a long time before I was state don and they get OC priority. Don't think I am being stuck up if I say no. Also when I come on line I always have 7 or 8 messages to answer and sometimes get a bit behind, so apologies to everyone who finds I didn't reply to everything." This probably goes for both of them and for all the State Dons to follow. Try not to bother them to much with needless messages. Their in oxes function the same way as yours and they will do their best to help you.
