Going For Platinum? iCaerus

It used to be a regular occurrence to login to Bootleggers, visit the game forum and try to figure out who had shot the members of Revelation (Rev). These days that seems to be more of a rare occurrence. For those of you who enjoy reliving the crazy days where everyone seemed to be after Rev, you were given a small taste on Thursday. That small taste was brought to us courtesy of NotCre4my, a former member of The Clenched Fist and even Event Horizon, the arch nemesis of Rev.

Sometimes there is a reason for attacking Rev and sometimes it appears to happen for the lulz. So what brought on this attack? To find out, I spoke to the man behind the shootings, NotCre4my. I was told that he was put up to attacking but he wouldn’t speak about who had made the request. “Rev have killed many of my friends,” he mentioned, adding “that’s the main reason.” He was also kind enough to mention that he felt bad for the two members that vouched him into Rev. That sympathy quickly disappeared as he described the takeover consisting of just two kills for gaining control of the spot. From there, all of the members were given a hard kick with the exception of Chris.

The plan was to kill every member of Rev. “My partner in crime messed up so I had to use 25k bullets on the successor,” NotCre4my mentioned. As a result, he didn’t have enough bullets to finish the crew wipe. A total of around fifteen members were killed, all Boss ranks or above. I was also informed that a few of the kills failed. The final part of the original plan was to pickup the California bullet factory. This wasn’t accomplished, and the bullet factory was put back into the hands of a Rev member, causing another problem for NotCre4my.

With Rev off of the stats page the new name was Chris’s Loveshack, an interesting title. Apparently the name was picked earlier on when NotCre4my asked Chris what he should name a crew if he ever got one. Chris provided the answer, and after vouching for NotCre4my the name actually made it to the statistics page. The last question asked was about the future plans for this crew spot. “My mate will take the crew,” NotCre4my said, adding “I’m giving it to Identity for free.” Before this article was written his statement was proven wrong.

Just hours later Boby, a member of Rev took control of the crew spot belonging to Event Horizon (EH) in a similar manner (which can also be read about in this Buzz issue). In an interesting twist, the name of the former Rev spot was changed from Chris’s Loveshack to Event Horizon and the members began filling the spot. So a former EH member wipes Rev, then a Rev member wipes EH and then EH return courtesy of the Rev crew spot? Who said things on Bootleggers aren’t interesting?
