What would you do with $770,000,000..? luco

At the present moment, you might say that $770,000,000 is a lot of money; and you would be right. It is. However, what would you do with a sum that big? Bank it, and hope to accumulate even more? Buy points, that way taking out the risk of dying? Or, hitlist the Nation Don? I for one would certainly not go for the last option; nevertheless, one player decided that was exactly what he was going to do!

It had been a somewhat quiet few days, and the hitlist, by standards had been empty, the odd $3,000,000 Thug here and there, but nothing special. All that, however, came to an end in an instant on Tuesday morning, when MWO (Boss of The Sacred Empire), decided that enough was enough, and slammed skjafar, the 14th Nation Don, on the hitlist for a cool $770,000,000 (Although the hit was anonymous). Were we about to witness another N don fall in the space of a week? No. Within minutes he had been bought off, and the jokes about someone losing $770,000,000 had already begun. However, those jokes stopped, just as quickly as they started, because another $770,000,000 had been placed on skjafar’s head. This time the hit wasn’t anonymous, MWO had revealed it was him, and surely this time the Nation Don would fall?

I managed to catch up with MWO and ask him a couple questions. I asked what his motives were and whether it was related to TSE getting wiped. He replied “Well, he had nothing to do with it, but the people he work with are directly related with it.” All in all, a very bland statement, but it begs the question, what did skjafar do to infuriate MWO so much? “All will be revealed” he said. So, I guess for now, we just have to wait.

DeadRabbitsFTW ended up shooting skjafar, with the money more than likely being split. MWO was dead within hours, but he said he would be back. During that hectic 3 hours, skjafar managed to wipe VR, which enabled Club Boogie to get back on the stats (albeit for a matter of minutes, when ChopSuey got banned). Nobody knows for sure why this happened, why the N Don seemed to be the nucleus, or why VR were involved. But all in all it provided entertainment for a few hours, and something to look forward to over the coming days and weeks.
