As everyone now knows, unless you have been on vacation, that there has been quite a substantial update with regard to Bootlegging. It seems fitting; after all, the game is called Bootleggers no less? We saw booze prices increase, a supply and demand, and a variation in prices across the states. However, in order for this update to take place, we were all stranded in our respective States while the ‘Conductors went on strike’.

Low and behold, after a few hours, the conductors got their wage increase and we were all off touring the country again. But, with a difference, we had millions of dollars worth of booze and spent hours in the slammer if we stocked up too much. So, a huge update in the bootlegging world had taken place, which Sabin claimed to have been working on since February.

So, everyone was happy, (apart from the usual suspects who like to complain about everything) and even better, no bugs were reported; which on an update so big was quite a mean feat. That was until Thursday morning when this message appeared on the booze page:
This page is currently disabled. Reason: Bug Testing.

I, as all of you were puzzled by this, as it seemed to be working with such good effect, and wondered exactly what the extent of the bug testing would be. All in all, the page was down for a few hours, and once the page was back up we were blessed with even more updates. Freshness was added, which affects the resale price, so the emphasis now is on buying and selling whilst the booze is still fresh. Sabin also mentioned that with respect to the first mission the family will only take the booze on the basis its fresh. We also managed to accrue a new section on the news page. This section is a percentage, however, of what we are unsure. Many players have come up with different ideas but we are yet to get any confirmation. The Buzz tried to get to the bottom of it all, however it proved to be a lost cause. Maybe Sabin wished for it to be a mystery, or we will find out at a later date.

So, once again I think we all need to give Sabin a round of applause for making yet another successful update.
