Issue: 83   Editor: JamesDean

Editors note JamesDean

WELCOME to issue number 83 of the Bootleggers Buzz!

It's been a long road leading up to my publication of this issue. In fact, I wrote my first article for the Buzz back on April 19th of 2007. Little did I know what I was getting into. As the months passed, I found myself working with a lot of great people and most importantly, having fun writing. With that being said, let's get on to this week's issue!

This week wasn't the fastest moving week on Bootleggers, but it had it's share of excitement. A new Nation Don is upon us, so congrats to littlemisssunshine on her promotion! 5litre has also been kind enough to give a basic tutorial explaining the chat feature on BL and IRC. Finally, a new update to the look of the game is causing a stir among the players, old and new. Is this the beginning of a new era?

As always, we have the "Behind the Name" and a "A Year Back." Please be advised that the "Behind the Name" is a random choosing of players and anyone asking to be part of it most likely will not be.

We are always looking for writers. If you have what it takes to become a writer, feel free to read the article from issue 69 describing what we look for. Please send a sample article of a recent Bootleggers event to our email address at and Nyxxie or myself will personally look into it within a month. Remember to mind your grammar, punctuation and spelling. Make sure to include your current Bootleggers' name. If you are dead by the time we contact you, we will do it via the e-mail you used to contact us, so keep checking on that as well!

To add a more personal note, thank you to all of you guys and girls who read each week. A lot of work goes into the Buzz and we can only hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoy making it happen. Since I don't have a cute little grahpic that says my name like Nyxxie does, I'll finish this with a little saying from my good friend Mr. Ron Burgandy.

You stay classy Bootleggers!
