The New OC system; Pros and Cons CharlesLucianoVIII

With all the new makeover our Bootleggers has been witnessing, a new update is essential to the core of the game after bootlegging. What else other than the Organized Crime feature?

The new system has been implemented this week with a sticky, notifying players with the update. The new update includes a new page layout for starting the OC (Organized Crime) and two functional updates; these two (you may say one of them actually) are the subject of heavy debate at the moment.

The first functional update was the invitation bootmail when the invite for the OC is sent. This update has been very much praised by players who found it useful and helpful.

On the other hand, the second function is the debate subject. Players found themselves having to be in the same state and Online or Idle at the time of the OC execution. Amidst the problems with the server lags, Administrators have decided to halt the update and disable it until the lag is resolved. The lag sometimes caused players to sign out of the game, leaving their OC leaders between two bitter options: delay the OC or remove the member offline.

The requirement to be online feature has been defended by Elite Guard by saying: "It serves a strategic goal." Players are speculating as to whether that goal is eliminating dupes doing OCs one at a time, or is it adding a touch of reality in the game. The seemingly disliked update is still under discussion as long as it is in the Game Forum sticky, it remains to be seen what happens with it after the Server problems are solved!
