Organized Crimes Today... Joke

More and more it's beginning to seem that the nature of Organized Crimes has changed. It is now as opposed to last round much more of a cheap, and greedy activity. Leaders are giving themselves much higher percents than anyone else on the team, Equipment Experts are being used much more frequently than Explosives Experts, and players joining up are looking to get the biggest percent, or the cheapest position. Even so, there is a good thing you may be able to notice about Organized Crimes today, rankism does not seem as prevalent as in previous rounds.

Too often you can see in the Classifieds, “gf or below gets less %”, and although rankism has existed ever since this game has, today every last dime has to be accounted for and low ranks can't expect to get a fair cut. It is not a big nor terrible display of rankism, however it still makes the game tough for a low rank and is unfair. Lexia said, “There is no such thing as rankism. there are only greedy and stupid people.” The most unfair thing about discriminating against low ranks and giving them low percents, is that most of the time, the percents are already very low. As well, you see in the Classifieds leaders giving out very low percents, yet keeping much to themselves. Many players rely solely on Organized Crimes to get money, they don't have the time, or patience to do crimes and make money, and being unable to find a fair percent makes this one tough game to compete in.

The Buzz took this matter to the Game Forum to ask players what they thought of Organized Crimes these days, and got quite the mixed response. BigBadFraggy said, “Why would you buy more then 1 tommy or get an EE if they work with cheaper equipment?” That raises a good question though, it has been asked many times if an Organized Crime offers more experience if an Explosives Expert is used, or if a good car is better to use, but it has never been proven. Besides that, questions have been raised as to which position might offer the best experience, and again, hasn't been proven. So it will most definitely be a personal preference, but why did we last round use the Explosives Expert, the good cars, the four thompsons? Was it just because we had the money to waste, and wanted to?

It's tough today to cover the expenses each person in the crime suffers with the low payouts of Organized Crimes today, so it's understandable for the whole issue to cause debates, arguments, and close concern of your money. There have been many threads made in the Game Forum petitioning for payouts to be raised, and every now and then, you can find an administrator or moderator saying that they're currently low to prevent inflation. So maybe it will follow the same footsteps of last round, and at the end of the round, we will see big payouts once again.

In the beginning of every round, you have got to expect everyone is out to make money for themselves, so you can't be surprised when people show their greed, when people benefit themselves to the unjust acts against others. “Greed is a part of the game,” Jitzi states, “in every OC there must be 4 people, those 4 arrange themselves to get the best cut for each of them.” In the very beginning of this round, Organized Crimes were the most popular method of scamming other players. Players would get ready before the percent was finalized, and then would receive 0% for their part in the crime. Since then, it's seemed to die down a bit, almost to where no scamming seems to be going on. It's almost as though there's a pattern, and that progress will continue, and shortly in the future it will be easier to find a fair Organized Crime.

Last round, it was very common to see someone advertising an Organized Crime in the Classifieds that had no percents listed, no stipulations that a Duesenberg was required, no Equipment Experts, you'd just see someone advertising an Organized Crime. It was common to see every position get either 25%, or 33% and the leaders taking only 1% for themselves, the Weapons Expert would buy four thompsons costing them $120,000, and an Explosives Expert. Today, however, it seems like as previous rounds, it might not take long to get back to those times.
