Busting; Is it driving you up the wall? lordwell

Recently, it has become apparent that a handful of people have been trying to rank solely by busting, a feature which has been loved by many but also hated by many ever since its creation. So, here at the Buzz, we decided to explore busting slightly deeper at the start of Round 6, to see if there is any significant differences between now and previous rounds.

It wasn't long before the Game Forum topic created to discuss jail busting became crowded with a whole host of players explaining their views, with even a few Moderators having their say on the matter.

First, we wanted to get players' opinions on the difficulty on busting this Round compared to previous rounds. There were mixed opinions with some thinking it's quite a lot harder. "I didn't play last round, but I know for sure it's MUCH harder than in round 4", said ViolatorX, however the majority seemed to think otherwise. Altrozero said, "Think it's the same, from last round it has been based more on rank than on success if not only on rank. Just because there are no high ranks yet it appears harder but really is just the same." JDM agreed, saying, "I don't think it's really much different than round 5, to be honest. I was a buster earlier last round, but when it got harder I kind of stopped." Loki finally backed that up saying, "I was a big buster last round, as many can attest, and it doesn't seem to be that much harder. It's just that it's still the beginning and we're all relatively close in rank, and low ranked at that. Makes it more difficult to get the ball rolling, at least that's what I think."

We wanted to see what people thought was the cause of more successful busting, whether it was to do with rank, as Altrozero had said, or just a case of practice makes perfect or a combination of both. Mattie, who is one of the few ranking purely by busting simply mentioned, "Well... rank matters alot this round", before posting his busting stats which showed some 206 successful busts at the time with a whopping 5,211 failed attempts. At Thug, it does seem to suggest rank is a major factor. VooDooDoll, however, seemed to think practice was more useful, saying, "Always seems to start off slowly regardless of the round. Takes time. The more you do it the easier it seems to get."

The topic, however, did end on a sad note with W0utR seemingly not feeling appreciated by his busting, saying, "Would be nice if people said "Thank You" once in a while when you bust them." So, what do you think? Is it to do with rank, or just practice and do you think it's harder than previous rounds? Whatever you decide, we wish you all the best with your future busting endeavours, and don't despair. Whether you continue to rank higher and higher or simply keep practicing, we're sure it will get better!
