The Casinos of Bootleggers: Roulette WillSeanMakeBoss

Roulette is the only casino that has been updated to cope with the new Cashier feature. You can buy chips in each state and use that to gamble on Roulettes only. But Roulette itself is probably the most complicated casino to play with the ability to bet on columns, rows, colours, odds or evens or individual numbers - each one netting you different odds and different payouts.

Average price of a Roulette: The average price of a Roulette right now is 30 points (or $720,000).

Average turnover of owning a Roulette: Most Roulette owners seemed to think that owning a Roulette was profitable in general. SweetiesLover told me that his profit was around $400,000 after six days. Other Roulette owners told me they made around a million a day or risked losing as much! On the whole, though, they seem to make the owner money rather than lose.

Roulette owners’ opinions on Roulettes/if they’re worth it: Roulette owners seemed to think that Roulettes were definitely worth earning, even though you could rarely make big loses on them. Haarinsp said he would want to see three updates made: access your casino from other states, transfer chips into the casino without the 10% fee and the five minute unplayable time when Roulettes change hands. SweetiesLover, someone who rarely owns and manages casinos, said “If you're patient, have a nice chip supply and a decent max you can certainly make more money than it cost you to buy the table.” Dream backed this up by saying they were not worth owning in the short term but make up for it in the long term. So it seems every casino owner would say that they are worth owning! Better start making your offers, people.

Opinion of gamblers on how easy Roulettes profitability/chance of winning when gambling: Roulettes were discussed quite a lot this week and players seemed eager to share their strategies (of which there are loads considering the complications of the casino). The first post came from NvermindMe, who predicted that people would complain that Roulettes are slow and the 5% fee on chips. This was immediately backed up by Mike92J saying “this makes you lose a lot of your winnings in another form of tax just to take some money out of the game”. Not long after, 5yco said he also had a problem with the 5% tax. Another player then complained that you can’t see how many chips the owner has so it is hard to predict how easy a Roulette would be to win like with other casinos. BSF2000 has already announced that there will be an update for this. If you treat Roulette like BlackJack and bet on one colour and keep doubling until you win, you won’t win much but you will be almost guaranteed to win something. This was shippior’s strategy.

Conclusion: Many players seemed discontent with the new Cashier feature taxing them to play. It is also hard to assess how easy the casino is to win in comparison to others since it’s the only one that has the Cashier function attached to it and has no “wealth status”. However, it’s great from the casino owners’ point of view since they nearly always make big profits.
