Editors note HowlingMadMika

Welcome to issue 32 of the Bootleggers Buzz!

Wew, I will be careful with what I ask for the next time I write my Editors Note. This time last week I was busy writing a Note on how dull the week had been and about how the writers did their best to still bring an interesting Buzz, despite the lack of action. Whether it was because of that Editors Note or just pure luck I shall probably never know, but well, let me just say the Buzz Team got what we were asking for: a week filled with action.

The week started with the wipe of the mixture between The Invisibles and The Order, namely the 1337 Guard. Attackers? Eternal Labyrinth. Reason: a bullet factory. A little research and the Buzz learned that this feud started quite a while ago, and Eternal Labyrinth claimed it would keep coming for the factory until it would remain in the crew's possession.

One would suspect that the World Cup would keep players glued to their television sets. Nothing is less true, however. This week, Event Horizon was attacked as well. The ones responsible were The Syndicate who shot all but four Boss+ Event Horizon members.

Just when we thought he had seen it all, Club Boogie decided it was time for a party. While they no doubt had a lot of fun dancing a deadly boogie, they killed a lot of crewmembers, wiping several crews and claiming all the spots in the progress. The crew spots were quickly lost, but it did not appear as if it had been the intention to keep them long. Yet, the Club Boogie spree does not end our bloody list. Shortly before the release, The Clenched Fist was also wiped. Due to us having to work quick, the article is somewhat short. However, we hope to present you with a complete article in issue 33.

Well, that covers the violent and in a way more fatal part of the Buzz. Nevertheless we have more. Altro has once again created a 'Buzz Comic' and has written yet another column as well, this time he has focused on the missions. Continuing his routine, Sean has looked into another casino of Bootleggers. This week, it was the Poker feature. As always we have our weekly segments 'The Weekly Flash', 'Bootleggers Game Statistics' and 'Behind the Name'. As well as the 'Obits' and a freelance article from DeliciousX who would like to share his thoughts with the community. Feel like doing the same? Then submit a freelance article of your own! They can be about any subject as long as it is game related and within the game rules and the Terms of Service.

If you feel like actually joining the Buzz team then please submit an application about a Bootleggers related subject. Should you feel you need any hints or tips then read through the 'Road to the Buzz Forum' article in the previous issue.

I have said what I needed to say. Let's move on to the actual articles. I will see you next week. Until then; take care, and stay safe.

Club Boogie Wipes the Dance Floor FrickOnAStick

This week, we all witnessed attacks made by Club Boogie. Club Boogie shot at four crews: Vipers Elite, The Clenched Fist, Valhall, and Death Road Ministry. We contacted Haer, a member of Club Boogie, to discuss the attacks.

"We had to shoot some crews because we'd already lost a few shooters. We picked Valhall because they were GoF related. I don't know why we shot The Clenched Fist, they just seemed like a nice target, to be quite honest. Death Road Ministry because they had more than fifteen members, and we shot at Vipers Elite because we had bullets left," said Haer on why they shot at the crews. He later said that it was "nice to use the new kill system," as they'd never "tried using it on a crew before." He concluded, "maybe we'll get to use the new kill system on some good crews next time."

The Buzz apologise for the shortness of this article, but we were unable to contact any other crews that were involved in these attacks. It is clear that Club Boogie shot because they felt it was time, and with bullets and shooters to actually attack, the crew decided to come out of the shadowy abyss they've been in in recent months and provide the Bootleggers community with some shooting action by wiping several crews.
