Shiny red Buttons and S&M MarlonB

Love them or loath them, Smoke and Mirrors are back with a new game and this time they have vests, smoke and big red shiny buttons.

Yes, yes, Smoke and Mirrors (S&M) are back once more with fun filled games of pain and death. What do they have for us this time? Well a game of course. This game is specifically aimed at Immortal Ghosts, S&M have given 14 Smoke Vests to specific members of Immortal Ghosts, these chosen 14 have the opportunity to either keep their vest and save themselves or give it to another member and save them. We asked S&M boss, SilkyJohnson, how they came up with this game. He told us, "It just kind of came about because of an evolution of everything we've been doing. Everything we do we hope to have the crews we involve make choices. In short, we want our games to be a glimpse into the personal psyche of those we involve."

The victims of the game, Immortal Ghosts, are now involved in their second S&M game. We asked SilkyJohnson why his crew had picked Immortal Ghosts. He told us, "Simple answer, they're the number two crew on bootcrews.com. They're behind Event Horizon. Event Horizon helped us so much at the start of the round that it would be silly to include them in any of this. Dirty House last week was picked because they were in that number two position. The same goes for Immortal Ghosts this week." So the number two seems to be a thing for S&M. SilkyJohnson also told us there is no way for them to cheat when he said, "We made it pretty clear that when transferring a vest to someone else, they need to send us a Bootmail, rather than only having the new person put the vest picture in their profile. I don't think cheating will be an issue."

We then went on to ask if S&M would like to say anything to Immortal Ghosts. We were told, "There's not a whole lot to say to Immortal Ghosts. Based on the posts they've made in the Game Forum, I think they understand what's going on. As well, I've certainly gained respect for them as a crew based on the way that they have handled the situation. I know that probably doesn't mean much to them, but, I think a lot of the reason we have for doing these attacks is to give people reason to fight for their stature and positioning. Going into this game, I wasn't sure what to think about Immortal Ghosts. Coming out of it, well, most likely I'm going to think that they'll be the type of crew that will rebound from losing some bodies and become stronger because of it."

S&M have threatened yet another crew on the stats. By the time this article has reached your screens all truths will be revealed. Refu, council member of Immortal Ghosts, told us, "They said to us that the attack will find place at noon dutch time." So will immortal ghosts rebuild or will someone take advantage of the weakened crew? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain we will see more S&M in the future.
