The Games Never End IAmAceAdam
This week the Bootleggers community witnessed yet another conclusion to an infamous Smoke And Mirrors game. This time, the people who “played” the game didn’t actually know they were participating and were unexpectedly killed on Tuesday! The game was brought to the players by Dragunov aka PhriendlyPhief and resulted in 17 players losing their lives due to not thanking the Smoke And Mirrors busting team for setting them free from jail! The deaths included two Bosses, five Respectable Bosses, two Godfathers, six Legendary Godfathers, one Don and one Respectable Don! Dragunov also mentioned that other players were spared the same fate due to their participation in the portion of the competition.

I managed to get to speak to VooDooDoll aka LowOnPancakes about the killings. She explained that saying thanks when being busted is a simple courtesy that is often overlooked. Her account Asteria was killed after being put on the hitlist for $55,555,555 anonymously for the assumption of her involvement with the shootings and also being a member of Smoke And Mirrors. She said “It was fun while it lasted and nothing personal after all it's just a game and it's meant to be played.” She also told me that she has been a part of Smoke and Mirrors for a couple of months now and Asteria was her first account in there. She also stated that she only started busting two weeks before the game started so she wasn’t really good at it anyway. When asked about the people who were moaning about their deaths and the threats Smoke And Mirrors received due to the game she commented “If they don’t want to die, perhaps playing HelloKitty would be more appropriate.” I finally asked her if we could expect any more games to come from Smoke And Mirrors and she simply asked me “Are you watching closely?” Then the conversation ended. So, readers, I guess we’ll be in store for more amazing games from them soon!

I caught up with FM11 aka Neftobakivor, one of the unfortunate players to be killed in this game and asked for his views on it. He told me that he has been killed four times now by Smoke And Mirrors, they seem to love to shoot him and he doesn’t know why. Maybe he’s just really unlucky! When asked whether he thought his kill was fair, he told me “I always say thanks when I get busted, but sometimes when great busters are freeing me a lot I only say thanks every 4-5 busts. I am 98% sure I did say thanks or cheers to a Smoke And Mirrors buster, perhaps I did forget but I always try not to.” I also asked for his opinion in general on people saying thanks or not when being busted. He said “I don’t mind if people don’t say thanks but I’ll not bust them again, unless they are alone in jail.” He finally told me that he plays Bootleggers for the busting itself. He loves it and has made many great friends that way!

So it just goes to show, common courtesy can really help you go a long way and may even save your life! So what can we expect next from Smoke And Mirrors? We’re going to have to wait and see what game comes next from them, maybe it’ll be tomorrow? Or even next week? It could even be happening right at this very moment and you just don’t know it yet .
