Issue: 97   Editor: TooShyToWearATie

Editors note TooShyToWearATie

Welcome to Issue #97 of the Bootleggers Buzz, the first Issue of 2014.

On behalf of the entire Buzz Team, which is not so big at this moment, I’d like to wish you all a happy new year and I hope you are playing Bootleggers with the same amount of fingers as you had in 2013. I hope everyone recovered from his/her hangover, because we have an amazing Bootleggers Buzz for you. 2014, a promising year for Bootleggers. The year where, hopefully, a new promising round is going to start. As this is the first issue of 2014, we at the Buzz needed something special. So, how sounds an article named BSF’s 2000 Characters? Yes folks, BSF2000 decided to write an article for you! Check out the article for the latest updates of the Elite Guard!

So, what else do we have for you this issue? As it was a quite boring week, we do not have any spectacular news to share. The only event which definitely caught our attention was the Bust Party, held by Pattu, also known as Patjuh. With a total jackpot of $550,000,123 we can officially call that an amazing Bust Party. We had a talk with the host who shared his motives to host such an amazing Bust Party. Any more news? I am sorry, but that is all the news we have for you!

Fortunately we have more stuff for you. A week ago we noticed a topic on the Game Forum regarding a discussion of the Federal Bank. The Buzz loves these discussions and therefore we decided to write a column regarding this interesting feature. In this column we have a look at the Bootleggers world without an interest feature. Does this result in a more interesting and better quality of the game-play? Well, I suggest you find that out by reading the column and post your opinion of the discussed matters!

There is more! We have the solutions and a list of winners of the Crossword Puzzle V2013. Thanks for all who participated and I truly hope you enjoyed the overview of 2013. With a first prize of $10,000,000 it surely was a great ending! Next, we have the weekly articles such as: behind the name, once upon a time and the weekly joke. Yes, after a short absence the weekly article, behind the name, is officially back.

Finally I’d like to thank all the players who submitted a freelance article this week. We received some amazing articles and I seriously suggest that you all have a look at these articles, they are awesome. For the record, the current Buzz Team is at this moment extremely small and can definitely use some help. Do you want to improve your English, have a great time with fellow writers and want to know what is going on at Bootleggers? Have no doubt and apply now, by simply writing an application article. That being said, I hope everyone enjoys this week’s read and have a good Sunday!
