Welcome to the Elite Guard: Nyxxie! OvermindEV2
On Tuesday, third of March, at 3:00 AM Bootleggers time, Nyxxie promoted to Moderator on Bootleggers! The Buzz had a little interview with her after she was promoted.

We were pretty curious how Nyxxie felt after being promoted. She said, “At first, I was very nervous. The Help Desk was getting a major revamp and I was afraid I was going to be next. Sabin, BSF and 5litre all were taking to me about my future on the help desk in a Yahoo conversation and how it was in the best interest of the game to no longer have me yellow. I was actually kind of mad and stuck up for myself, as I always do. They kind of left me hanging as they ‘discussed’ my future on the Help Desk in a separate message with just them three and then they came back to say they want me as a Moderator. They tricked me, those evil red men!”

With Nyxxie promoted to Moderator, we wondered whether she ever expected to be promoted. Also, we asked her about her goal as a Moderator, as she had been a Help-Desk Operator for a long time. She explained, “I would have been lying if I didn't say for the past couple of months (or a half a year), I was expecting to get promoted. I believe I work very hard and I thought I deserved it. However, when they approached me the way they did, I thought I was going to get canned with the rest.” She later added, “When I got promoted to HDO 2 years ago, I was just set on being an HDO and a Buzz Editor. I did want to eventually aim for Moderator, but I was more concerned with trying to get the people who had ill-feelings towards me, look at me in a second light.

Later on, we asked her what she would like to achieve as a Moderator. She said, “As a Moderator, my number one concern is never to change. I have seen many people change due to becoming Moderator and I want to stay the same person I have been. I'm fun on the forums, I'm opinionated and I'm out spoken. For me, this will never change. Although I do have to have a more of a professional attitude while doing it, I still believe you can be a staff member and still have an opinion and a heart towards things and events that happen in the game. I just would like to prove to everyone I'm not nasty bitch they thought I was (or am!)”

With that last bit of information, the Buzz congratulates Nyxxie with her promotion to moderator. We wish her all the best being a moderator.
