Strength or Weakness? |

It's something I saw when I returned after a small break of bootleggers, I saw new crews with names I had never heard of.
When I looked to their crew profile, I saw something new in the bootleggers community; something I had seen on other crime RPGs before, but not on bootleggers. A new thing on crew profiles: crew allies.
Then I thought: Are crews really that bad they have to place allies on their profile? In the past, there was a picture that said protection pictures won't stop bullets, that picture made me think about the current situation. Like when a crew have placed allies on their profiles it will stop people from attacking. There is only one thing that will stop attacks against crews, that is the fear of getting totally wiped by the crew you attacked.
But I also have my doubt, are the alliances really that good? Will they really help each other when they are in war? A crew boss told me he gets messages from regular crews with the question: Would you like to be our ally?
My opinion is that its a sign of weakness, there is a big part of players from the time period before this current situation that agree with me.
So my conclusion is: Stop placing allies on your profile and show that your crew have some power and start shooting instead of placing allies on your crew profile.
