He is almost celebrating his three years of being an Administrator anniversary, and Sabin still enjoys being at Bootleggers every single moment. Satisfied as he is, accomplished as he sounds, our so well maintained Administrator logs in to Bootleggers every single day, seeing hundreds of great players being logged in. Bootleggers has changed quite a lot in the five and a half years it has been online. New features, others being shut down and even old ones came back.
Although BSF2000 is the Head Administrator, Sabin and 5litre are just as important as him. A small group like this and the work load that comes with it, a lot of trust is being asked from each other. With having three intelligent, mature and rational Administrators this wont be such a problem and basically anything can be discussed; and everyone has to the right to say their own opinion and statement. With the position of trust there is no such thing they cant decide on their own, although recent times tell us that BSF2000, Sabin and 5litre discuss a little more than in the past and issue decisions collectively.
Having such an important job within the Bootleggers community could make pressure rise to the highest level possible. With having thousands of active players, making a mistake will affect lots of them. As every human makes mistakes, so does Sabin; and of course making mistakes isnt a bad thing. Still, it makes him upset if he has made one.. On the other side, when a new feature is being released, it makes Sabin happier than ever when so many players are enjoying it. As the administrators face a lot of mundane tasks, thinks could get messy. Instead of the old days, in the new days a lot is more automated. Lots of tools and procedures make the game run smoothly and less complicated for the Administrators. "The focus now is on making things work right, rather than fixing individual problems. Much of the effort is on making the game run better and faster, rather than quirky little updates that don't accomplish much," as Sabin quoted.
As Sabin told the Buzz that Bootleggers still has some accomplishments and achievements to complete, we are looking forward on what is coming next. He promised us that there will be no huge differences as the latest features did create, but still they want the gameplay to evolve as much as possible. Bootleggers is really popular and really well maintained at the moment, although a winning team of 1975 wont stand a chance these days anymore. Sabin told us that the upcoming features are planned to create a difference in gameplay for the long term, rather than for the short term, again.
