Interview of HDOs Mikamon

Normally the Buzz would be more inclined to interview Admins or Moderators, but this time we have decided to let you take a look at Bootleggers through the HDOs eyes. The HDOs we interviewed were Mikamon and KamakazeDavid.

We asked them how it felt to receive the ‘promotion’ or ‘invitation’ to become HDO, “It was around midnight when I received the invitation and I did not think myself fully awake so it was a HUGE shock! I would give advise to players by bootmail or irc but I never expected it would come to HDO” said KamikazeDavid. Next we asked Mikamon and he replied, “I was thrilled, really. It came as a total surprise and I was happy to have been given the chance.”

The current HDOs were all invited to become one around a month ago, but let us have a look at what their biggest Bootleggers achievements were before then. Mikamon said “My biggest achievement would have to be when IAmAldarion and I brought back The Gambino Family and then when we went on to form Fierce Allegiance.” KamikazeDavid said, “Well some may not see this as an achievement but I thoroughly enjoyed when Sweetie, Browneyes and I started a competition to see who could reach certain ranks at certain times first, I achieved Don before the both of them and won that, but of course they had to go become State Don before I did, however I eventually made that rank, even though it lasted mere hours (36 hours) before I was scum again!”

Obviously Miikamon and KamikazeDavid are happy being HDOs and enjoying to be able to help players more, but that got the Buzz to asking, Do you ever want to reach Moderator? “Honestly I haven’t really thought about it, for now I just want to be able to gamble and play the game and at the minute I am happy where I am,” replied KamikazeDavid. Mikamon said, “Maybe, but it's not something I would want against all cost. If I'd be asked to become one then I think I'd accept, but it's not something I am busy with or what I keep in my mind.”
