The Scene is a name we have been hearing a lot lately. It consists of a few members of Gentlemen of Fortune, and those members were behind the attacks on The Vanguard and are responsible for hitlisting Infinity. However, who exactly are they and what do they want? The Buzz got in touch with a few members for an interview.
Scene is about, and when the crew was created. Altrnt, a co-creator, said, "We first formed about a month and a half ago, I co-created TS with a person who shall remain anonymous." He later added, "We are about business, putting ourselves in a good position, and if that means we need to kill people, we are prepared and armed heavily to do so. We have plans for the summer, big plans, so folks, I would stay alert."
The Buzz then asked The Scene who the boss was. Altrnt said, "We don't really have a fixed boss, we just have a few important people who think up the plans and fund the attacks, but the shooters in the crew are one of the most essential parts of it." "D" added, "It's all about a group of rich friends having fun with their bullets and money. In short, people do shit on their own under the name of The Scene, we protect our fellow members and organise some fun shootings, keeping the game going."
"D" has built himself a bad reputation over the past weeks, but who is he and what is his past on Bootleggers? "D" said, "I am just a guy that plays Bootleggers, and having fun whilst playing it. Those that are annoyed by my shootings should learn that Bootleggers is a game, not the real world." He later added, "Although I am old school, and have been here since the beginning, I do not call myself a legend. Furthermore, I find that a good question, because I don't know. Who am I? "
The Buzz moved onto the future, and whether or not The Scene had one. Altrnt said, "We don't want to turn into one of those crews who you hear about for a couple of weeks and then they disappear, like current on-statistics crew The Deadly Alliance, they are always popping up and leaving after a few weeks, we don't want that. What we do want is to continue having fun, in every way possible." "D" added, "We plan to stick around for a while, but we do not plan to buy a spot, buying spots is too serious and not fun, we want to continue with the fun and want less of the serious. Although, if we ever do wipe a crew, we will hold the spot for a while, we would even die for it.
The Scene was obviously made for a bit of fun, to add a little more excitement to the Bootleggers life, but to some, it ruins the fun and excitement. Happy gaming!
