The week rolled on and crews continued to come and go from the stats as if they were staying at a hotel. One crew that checked in for a second time, only to leave with equal speed, was The Syndicate (TS). After being wiped from the stats by The Fatal Wounds (TFW) earlier in the week, TS made a swift return, by quickly hitting back at TFW, wiping it from the stats and returning within 4 hours. The crew would later be renamed Gentlemen of Fortune:: TS (GOF:: TS), and this would be the name added to the seemingly never-ending list of crews that had made an appearance on the Stats page this week. The Buzz spoke to D, member of TS and GOF:: TS, to see what he had to say about the recent events regarding the crews and possible future plans of TS.
With TS being responsible for many of the deaths during the week, including the wipe of Eternal Labyrinth (EL), it did not come as a surprise to many that the crews on the statistics page did not greet them with open arms. After another relatively short time on the stats, once again members began to fall, and within moments of the spot dropping, EL made its return. The Buzz wondered if TS had known the attack from EL was a possibility, or whether it had come from out of the blue. We asked D this, and he told us I knew they were going to attack, but I expected them to attack faster. I had ABU7AYYAN on a list for a long time, but he went in hibernation. If he was out hibernation just a couple of hours before when I checked, he would be a dead man, just like all the other potential EL shooters which I shot. The Buzz was also intrigued as to how D had found out the names of these potential shooters, and were not left disappointed as he gave an extremely interesting answer, saying, I'm happy to have several (former) EL members in my msn, who like to make a decent amount of money, in exchange for some good information.
The Buzz also briefly spoke to the holder of EL, ABU7AYYAN (ABU), who claimed that EL would always be able to take out TS with one shooter. We put this claim to D, who responded by telling us, Well, easy. LocoCyber took out 170 victims, some of them were scum and some of them were State Don. After he shot TFW crew boss, which I can't even recall the name of, some TFW guy approached him. TS statement was: We shot him because he was suspected to be (former) EL. Then they settled, because TFW didn't want a war. LocoCyber stated that there would not be any attempt on the crew spot of TFW. But he shot 5 EL members who were in the crew, so that might have triggered TFW to shoot. But still... It took 170 kills before someone or some crew stood up to TS. The same went for CoveredInBees later in the week. But when it comes down to any of the crews which we have taken out the last week, theyre just sooooooo slow. Clearly then D was able to use facts to contradict the statement made by ABU. It may be seen that this is showing that EL's slow reactions show that they may not be able to back up this statement, therefore possibly it may be more front than actual realistic fact. However it will remain to be seen, the next round of shooting will surely show alot!
With EL back on the stats, the Buzz wondered if TS would once again hit it. We asked D this, and he told us, EL will be taken care of obviously. But not the current slot of EL, they want to play cat and mouse. The cat always wins, and I'm playing the cat, as I always do. Clearly then TS do not feel they need to deal with the current slot that EL occupy. Possibly showing that they are working with other groups, and they will take care of them instead. Only time will tell if this will be the case, however with EL in a relatively weak position at this moment in time, and the crew having many enemies, it seems inevitable it will be hit by someone.
With TS not considering themselves a stats based crew, the Buzz then moved on to whether it would return to the stats or once again go underground. We put this to D, who told us, The Syndicates home is underground. Where stats-crews like TV claim that going UG was their final decision after getting wiped, is just another way of saying: We're not so though as we thought we were, but we're still in denial. However regarding TS, whenever we wipe a crew, we try to keep the crew spot as long as possible. Maybe we sell it, maybe the shooter holds it and gets random people in there and have some fun together. But The Syndicate has no intention what-so-ever to be a public crew. Clearly then TS is content with how it is currently operating, feeling it's better off remaining off the stats, to allow itself to maximise the effect of its shootings.
Finally, D finished with a statement regarding TS. He said, As everybody has seen in the last week and a half, TS is not about spamming the forums, or screaming out loud that EL are just duping fags from the east. While EL, ODL, Paradise, TFW, TNG constantly do this. When TFW took our 11 man crew out (3 boss+), we were actually laughing, because we had a new target to shoot at. From the moment they shot their first bullet, it took us 3.5 hours to shoot at TFW. Imaxim was trying to shoot at CoveredInBees, but failed twice. He then sold all his protection and gun, sent CoveredInBees the money and asked him to shoot him, as he was quitting BL after his fail. Despite some of this information being seemingly irrelevant, this is a clear statement to show the strength of TS, and possibly the weakness of TFW. It cannot be denied that the quick reactions of TS after being shot by TFW were impressive, and decisive. If the information regarding imaxim is true, then it is clearly intended to show that TFW are not what they have claimed to be. Will TS continue to shoot? Will TFW prove its critiques wrong? Only time will tell. But for now, happy gaming!
