Elysium no more! |

This week began with a bang, as Perpetual Elysium met its end, courtesy of a combined effort by The Syndicate and 23rd Gunslinger Co.. After the first shots had been fired, it soon became clear Perpetual Elysium would make no attempt to prolong its existence on the stats, seeming to accept defeat immediately. What has provoked the wipe of Perpetual Elysium? We found out, as we spoke to 23rd Gunslinger Co. boss and founder Coastie. We also spoke to boss of Perpetual Elysium, Fuckle.
The appearance of a topic in the game forum was erected shortly after the wipe of Perpetual Elysium. It claimed that word had reached 23rd Gunslinger Co. that Perpetual Elysium had planned to wipe it from the stats, provoking the reaction and wipe of its own spot by 23rd Gunslinger Co.. These claims are flatly denied by Fuckle, who told us no such plans had been made. In total 42 accounts were shot by the members of 23rd Gunslinger Co. and member of The Syndicate, Comissioner. With Perpetual Elysium being made up of many members, the first question the Buzz put to Coastie, was how many bullets and points had the attack cost in total. He responded, telling us, Not sure TBH. Little over 200-300k. Everything after that was hard-kick kills. The hard-kick kills mentioned, came after Perpetual Elysium had dropped to member Cracka, who went on to hard-kick the majority of members who remained alive. Cracka undertook these actions as she claimed to of been unfairly treated by the bosses of Perpetual Elysium, after she had been relinquished of her duties as boss of the crew just hours before.
Many kills were made before Perpetual Elysium dropped to Cracka. Many of these bullets came from the gun of Comissioner, member of The Syndicate. Some people believe 23rd Gunslinger Co. is just using The Syndicate to make itself look strong. We got Coasties reaction to this claim. He defended his crew by telling us, TS are friends, we help them just as much as they help us. If they want to think that they shoot us, and they'll find out when we retaliate. Clearly then Coastie feels he and his members are more than capable of defending the 23rd Gunslinger Co. alone, however only developments in the future will be able to show us if the claims made by Coastie can be backed up, or are just a front.
With 23rd Gunslinger Co. continuing to shoot, the crew develops more and more enemies as it does so. It must surely now be viewed as a prime target by many crews. Perhaps these crews will join forces to take down 23rd Gunslinger Co.. Only time will tell if this happens. Coastie finished the interview by saying, Don't confuse the 23rd with crews like Rev, EH, or EL. We don't shoot for profit, or to be a bully. We shoot for the little guy, for that boot-legger who is struggling to make it by and gets killed like it's nothing because people are bored. You don't provoke and we wont shoot. Simple. This statement is clearly trying to make the Bootleggers users aware of the values held by 23rd Gunslinger Co.s members. If more shooting ensues, be sure to return to the Bootleggers Buzz for the story! For now, happy gaming.
