Expensive Points! dinner2

I wondered to myself, "when did points get so expensive?" as I was finally ready to step up from Thompson to Dragunov. They used to be a little less than 5Kpp (thousand per point) and are now... well... double? An intriguing coincidence? I think not! They doubled exactly. The answer lies in Micro Economics (hey, I actually learned something this year). The #1 reason to buy points is to buy bullets faster! So? bullets are needed more because we kill more? No! Sabin changed the price of bullets from $25 to $50 in the states Illinois and Louisiana. Well this makes simple to justify buying points for a little more when available, maybe 5.5Kpp or 6K. Uh-oh, mass trend occurs and the new norm finds in way smack into the middle of the 'Market Equilibrium.' Can you say it with me? You just learned a whole college course right there. Way to go killer!
