What Makes a Good Profile? |

Now I know, when it comes to profiles, I'm not the nicest looking pencil in the box. But some people are even worse, others look fantastic. All profiles vary, so what actually makes a profile good?
I despise people who put "My Rankings" on their profile... who on earth wants to read a long list of the ranks you have climbed up? They can see your rank at the top of your bloody profile! You're telling people something they already know and personally that brands the profile as rubbish immediately, in my eyes.
I'm not too keen on those who gloat, either. "My best OC's" or "My best GTA's" and what-have-you clog up many amateur profiles- these long lists of constant information bragging about that 800K OC you managed to pull off are getting tiresome and are just a sore sight to behold.
This is rather a giant point, too: people using [*size=7] on every word on their profile really gets on my nerves. As do pictures of 50 Cent or other popular "gangster rappers" on every protection picture in the country.
So what makes a profile look good? A big one? A small one? Lots of colour? Black & white? Lots of images? Lots of text? I suppose we all have our tastes.
We all remember Ferrit, don't we? His marathon of a profile made a bold statement to many- whereas people such as xYoun like to stick to fairly small pages.
Some profiles are crammed full of 600x800 bust and/or protection pictures, others flat out refuse to use them. Call this an unfair generalization if you must, but usually more experienced, higher ranked players stick to small, "tidy" profiles, and new "n00bs" (for want of a better word) shove every word, image, and list they can into their eye-catcher, and the bigger the better in their eyes.
What do you think? This user is off to get some dinner. See you next week!
