Hey look, a dinosaur Mika
It was quite a surprise really, logging in and seeing a link above the menu in the black-grayish table saying: Hey look, a dinosaur.

A quick look at the Game Forum made it clear that I wasn't the first to see it or wonder what it was. A topic about the issue was already there. People that were suspicious about the link since it didn't refer to a Bootleggers link or, at first sight, something associated with Bootleggers.

The link, that referred to http://www.coccentral.com/Dinosaur/ (site is officially safe), was taken away just before downtime by BSF2000 for reasons unknown. Since BSF2000 himself didn't reply to comment on the issue I created a Help Desk ticket to get an answer. I was lucky and a moderator answered my question: “There is no indication as to 'why' it was put up but it is simply an older version of Bootleggers. It is not connected to this DB so is simply a nice way of remembering how Bootleggers used to be. See it as a rollback without the loss.“

The website is, as can be made up from the reply, an older version of Bootleggers with the old layout. An opportunity for some players to dream away and recall the times in the past where things were still what they used to be. An old layout and crews from long ago on the stats.

After creating an account I logged on and saw the X-Box contest on the news page. That does bring back memories! Also you have the old forum layout and the staff 'discussions', or rather fun talk, on the Game Forum. A real glimpse from the past that brings back memories for those that were around at the time. Something to give a go when you want to remember it again or a chance for the newer players to understand what all the 'old players' are talking about when they bring back memories.

In short: A golden opportunity to take a look in the good OLD world of Bootleggers!
