The Imperium vs Abuelloz Broken
Bootleggers has witnessed, once again, a killing spree unleashed on one of it’s crews, Reveillez, also known as The Imperium. On the 4th of January, members of The Imperium started appearing on the ‘Last 10 Kills’. The killings resulted in a mass of RIP topics in the Game Forum, not to mention fuelling arguments between members of The Imperium and the shooters. Now we can look past the arguments/rumours and take a look at the hard facts.

The perpetrator of the shootings on The Imperium was a user named abuelloz, the Real Life brother of scum, with BigJoe co-ordinating the attacks. So why did abuelloz and BigJoe choose to shoot this crew? The answer given by abuelloz was ”One of their members shot BigJoe for his Keno and took it.” The Keno in question is the Louisiana Keno, that was held by BigJoe when he was under the username TheMatrix. The member of The Imperium who killed TheMatrix was Zeus.

The attack on The Imperium was obviously well organised considering it took place only a few days after TheMatrix was killed. It seems to have done more damage and made more of an impact on the Bootleggers community than the takeover of MrHansamann’s Legion, also co-ordinated and carried out by BigJoe and his associates.

The attack on The Imperium itself took the lives of 24 members, using 568,600 bullets. These fallen members consist of 10 Legendary Godfathers, 4 Godfathers, 7 Respectable Bosses, 2 Bosses and a Hitman. When asked if he wanted to deliver a message to Bootleggers, abuelloz stated ”All players, don’t take this game too seriously. In the end, it’s a game. We respect all nations so please play the game with respect. Thank You.”

As you could imagine, loss of a number of high ranks can spell disaster for a crew and can make it difficult to survive. I caught up with NotoriouslyT/Taker, one of the Bosses of The Imperium to see how his crew was coping after the shootings. He said ”We're coping alright, could be better, just something you have to do its all part of the game. Getting shot, raking up again shooting back its all part of the fun and that’s exactly all we're doing.” While you could expect The Imperium to be angry, it seems that the crew has taken it in their stride and are keen on rebuilding... all in the spirit of the game. However, don’t expect The Imperium not to react as NotoriouslyT also left Bootleggers this message:

”Don't see getting killed as a bad thing, look at it this way, now at least you have something to look forward to......Revenge.”

A question that remained unanswered was what Zeus had to say after causing the events leading to the shooting. Along with abuelloz and NotoriouslyT, I also asked Zeus if there was anything he wanted to say and he said ”Sorry to all of The Imperium members for what I have caused.” so there is a degree of remorse and regret from the person who started the incident. Whether or not The Imperium forgive him and welcome him back to the crew is a different story altogether.

A few hours after all the shootings, after it seemed the dust had settled and people were rebuilding; abuelloz, who was on the Hitlist at the time, was suddenly banned. The reason for this emerged as safety shooting, where a friend shoots somebody with a small amount of bullets so the recovery time shields the victim from death. Abuelloz returned as abuellozv1 with the message ”We will take the rest of the crew.” Since The Imperium crew dropped to a banned player, CrimeMasterGoGo, it is a mystery at this moment whether abuelloz can actually succeed. Only time will tell.

What we have here is a prime example of what every crew battle in Bootleggers should be. A battle between a shooter with nothing to lose, determined to take down his target and a Crew full of loyal members, keen to rebuild and retaliate. Whatever happens, I doubt things will end now and Bootleggers should sit back and watch everything unfold.
