To Sell or not To Sell. Trippy
Decisions, decisions, decisions. Everybody knows it is hard to make them. So you consider everything before you make them, because everything depends on which decisions you make. But what if you didn’t make the right decision?

Last week we saw Team America, also known as TA, selling their sought after crew spot. UncleSamFTW told us he just didn’t have the time to run a crew, so he decided it was best if he sold it. But then, he decided not to sell the crew after all. “We had many bids, they were even going over the asking price days before the time was up. But than a lot of crew members convinced me to back out and keep the crew,” said UncleSamFTW in an exclusive interview with the Buzz. With that, they decided to keep the crew. Or didn’t they?

I got a message from Bootleggers player, Feared, a couple of days later which confused the Buzz, and probably any Bootleggers player paying any attention to this story.

“If your doing a follow up story to your TA one in the Buzz. Then maybe I could help. I'd agreed with Sam to buy the crew and the deal was done and was invited in to speak to the members. There is more but not worth typing if your not.”

So what was this deal? TA was getting sold after all? Feared told the Buzz the first time that TA decided to sell, that he had made a deal with UncleSamFTW. They let him in the crew to talk to the members about what his plans were with the crewspot. But Feared wasn’t told that UncleSamFTW also made a deal with the crew members. If they would pay back his share of the crewspot, he would gladly stand down without the crewspot needing to be sold. “While in deep discussion in the forum, Flyboy popped up out of nowhere stating,
'Sorry you won't be buying the crew, not if I have anything to do with it!' That shocked me because the deal was around 5 minutes from being completed. All points were gathered and everything,” stated Feared.

But then after a couple of days, again Feared got a BM, asking if he was still interested in buying the crewspot. When the Buzz asked UncleSamFTW about this he told me “A couple of days after, the members convinced me to keep the crew, they showed me that nothing was going to change, so I decided to sell again.” But Feared didn’t have the points anymore, since one of his partners pulled out of the deal after it didn’t work the first time. So, again, UncleSamFTW went to the Classifieds with his crewspot. When I asked him why he didn’t sell it the second time, he told me “I think with the second bid, a lot of people lost faith because I backed out the first time.” So he decided to hand over the crew to Rumrunnerv3. “I needed someone that I trusted and that I felt would be able to do it, he was the one.”

So TA is staying on the stats after all. And hopefully the next time, they’ll think it over twice before selling, instead of selling it twice before thinking it over.
