Bootleggers? Mafia game or love game? |

27th of September 2007, Bootleggers celebrated it's 4th anniversary. Currently, it's 5th round is being played. But a lot of things changed since last reset. The game got harder to play, but whats also clear; The community has changed. A lot of new players joined Bootleggers. This changed the community drastically. More and more, it seems like people are forgetting what this game is really about. Where we saw fame for killing last round, this round fame can be achieved in many ways. Non mafia ways. All crews seem to be friends with each other. And if they do have a problem with each other, it hardly gets solved with killing. Same thing goes with ranks. People just play to rank up? Whats fun about that? Ranking up to Don takes roughly 100 OCs. Most people have to work months for that. Wouldnt it be more fun to rank to R.Boss or Godfather, then shoot a few people? In my eyes, this game isnt mafia anymore at all. All people care about is having a high rank, and some money to gamble. Only few people play this game the way it supposed to be played. For example: The Clericuzo. They rank up, stock bullets and shoot. If more people would act this way, instead of making love with each other over the internet, the game would be far more interesting. An average rank of Godfather would be much better. Now we have over 2,000 Dons. Its crazy. Don shouldnt be such a common rank. Change the way you play, stop making love, and stop being afraid to use your bullets and money.
Example: Casinos; People hardly kill for casinos because it would be dirty. But realize, that most casino owners dont have the power to retaliate. Just look at what Superb was able to do a while ago.
Note: I only posted this because Im frustrated about how the game is being played. Im expecting comments that are harassing, so go ahead if you want to do it. Its another thing added to BL. Aggressive talking players who ruin the game forum with negative comments.
